The Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 is one of the most wanted motorcycles in its segment. This agile mechanical beast was designed with high performances in mind, therefore it boosts a 749,9cc, V90, four stroke, longitudinal 90° v twin, liquid cooled engine with four valves per cylinder and a ride-by-wire system. The engine cranks out a maximum power of 67.3 KW (92 HP) at 8750 Rpm and 8.4 Kgm (82 Nm) of torque at 4500 Rpm.
The Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 is built on Aprilia’s mixed trellis and aluminum frame which assures great ride and handling capabilities.
Other features worthy of being mentioned include four piston radial calipers, wave discs, a hydraulic wet clutch, adjustable front and rear suspension, optional ABS, Tri-Map ride-by-wire engine management and a Matrix instrument display with on-board computer.

Aprilia’s products aren’t as popular as the ones of its Japanese rivals, but this doesn’t mean that the Italian manufacturer’s motorcycles aren’t capable.
For instance, look at the Aprilia Mana 850 GT ABS, a sporty naked model especially designed to reward its rider with a great mix of speed, handling and adrenaline. Thanks to its practical character the motorcycle is also pretty versatile and feels similarly comfortable both on the race track and in the city.
At the heart of this beauty lies a longitudinal 90° V-twin engine, 4 stroke, liquid cooled, single overhead cam engine with chain drive and four valves per cylinder. The power generated by this mechanical monster is rated at 56 kW (76.1 cv) at 8.000 rpm and 7,45 kgm (73 Nm) at 5.000 rpm. All this power is kept under control by a modern sequential/automatic transmission.

With a long list of technical and esthetic upgrades, the 2013 Aprilia Dorsoduro is finally prepared to go head to head with the best bikes in its class including the BMW R1200GS.
At the heart of the bike lies a two cylinder unit which cranks out a maximum power of 130 hp. The engine is placed in a lightweight chassis which is carefully forged to offer superior driving dynamics.
Other technical highlights include radial Brembo callipers, hydraulic clutch, Ride by Wire with 3 different engine maps and the Matrix instrument panel with on board computer. Moreover, the Dorsoduro is also available with ABS and Aprilia Traction Control (ATC).
Also new for the 2013 model, are the fresh three split spoke wheel rims which are 2.3 kg lighter than the old 5 spoke model. Because the new rims decreased the total weight, it was possible to fully revamp the shock absorbers and suspension which are now tuned for more agility and reduce the overall height of the bike’s centre of gravity.

The Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 ABS received a new engine for 2013. The new generation has also received other few upgrades which make it more agile and pleasurable.
The 2013 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 is fitted with a 750 cc 90° V-twin engine which delivers a maximum power of 92 hp at 8750 rpm and 82 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. The engine is mounted on Aprilia’s unique mixed trellis and aluminium frame which gives it superior handling abilities.
The front breaks consist of advanced 4-piston radial calipers which bite 320 mm floating wave discs offering a short stopping time. For extra safety, the bike is also fitted with a sophisticated 2 channel Continental ABS system. Both front and rear systems features metal braided braking pipes, borrowed from the aeronautic sector. Thanks to this advanced technology, the pressure fluctuations of conventional pipes are eliminated, maximizing the breaking efficiency.

Aprilia has come a long way with the Pegaso 650 and we’re now witnessing the presence of more than one such model in their lineup. The Factory and Trail are two similar and yet very different models. Although featuring the same engine and chassis, one fits in the supermotard category and the other in the enduro one. This really shows the Italian manufacturer’s talent in transforming a bike depending on the requests of riders, but also how versatile the Pegaso 650 actually is.
Italian motorcycle magazine Motociclismo has just revealed a sketch that they’ve put together as a result of rumors about Aprilia planning to launch a big-bore adventure tourer. Called the Aprilia Tuareg, the motorcycle would be a 1200cc adventure-sports one, which positions it up against BMW’s recently disputed king, the R1200GS and rivals Yamaha XT1200Z Super Ténéré and Ducati Multistrada.
With that being taken into consideration, Aprilia would really have to get the most out of the 1200cc V-twin engine suppose to power their future desert bike, while also keeping it under the 200kg (440lbs) weight limit imposed by the desire for competitiveness.
As this rendering reveals, the dual-purpose bike will come with a 21-inch front wheel, while a street version featuring a 19-inch one isn’t out of the equation either.

The 2010 edition of the world’s toughest rally, Dakar, will see Team Giofil’s riders – Paolo Ceci, Gerard Farres, Francisco Lopez and Alex Zanotti – competing on the barely revealed Aprilia MXV 450 Africa.
This is the latest version of the bike that brought the team the last two consecutive Rally of the Pharoahs wins (in 2008 and 2009) and third place overall in 2009.
Although based on the standard MXV 4.5 model, the four competition bikes that Aprilia will supply Team Giofil with are all powered by a seriously modified engine and strengthened chassis, the bodywork and navigation equipment being actually the least stressful part when preparing any bike for 16 days of hell on earth.
Teams will be setting off on January 1 and surrender weapons on January 17, 2010.
Aprilia carries on the production of their latest Supermoto and Enduro 125cc models, the SX 125 and RX 125, in 2009. Currently not new in the lineup, but radically improved, the models announced a whole new kind of fun both on dirt tracks and on paved ones with the occasion of last year’s revision.
