2018 - 2019 Aprilia SR Motard 50
The words “supersport scooter” are not ones that we see put together very often, but that’s exactly what the Aprilia SR 50 Motard brings to the market. Aprilia drew on its own extensive Supermotard experience for the design high points of this model, and the racetrack DNA is plain to see. A four-stroke 50 cc engine delivers clean power that meets U.S. and Canadian emission standards, and the under-seat storage compartment makes it an effective commuter.
2017 Aprilia SR 150 RACE
In 2013, Aprilia launched its first mass oriented scooter, the SR Motard 50 under the "supermoto-inspired" range. This was an ‘out-of-the-blues’ decision for a superbike maker like Aprilia, courtesy of its parent company, Piaggio, thus targeting itself towards a niche younger audience. However, with the SR 150, Aprilia has widened its base and has created an all-new segment of performance-oriented scooters for the mass market buyers although it hasn’t come onto US shores yet.
Touted to be the sporty yet fun-to-ride scooter, Aprilia has launched a limited edition version of the scooter titled as SR 150 RACE for its Asian markets, which comes with some cosmetic as well as mechanical changes over its regular version. Introduced to the North American market in 2013 for the 2104 model year, Aprilia calls the SR Motard 50 "supermoto-inspired" and I’m sure it was, hence the clever model name. I can see the influence in the design: the aggressive front fairing, minimal body panels revealing the mechanicals, the exposed front forks, insect-tail rear end and race-tastic graphics. It even sounds like it could manage in the dirt, but that’s really as far as it goes. It’s a supermoto theme on a 50 cc scooter. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. I’m just calling it as I see it. That aside, let’s look at the SR Motard 50 as a spiffy little sports scooter and see what we can make of it.

The Aprilia SR Motard 125 offers a perfect mix between sportiness and practicality. The scooter features an attractive style with sleek lines and an aggressive headlight.
Perhaps it goes without saying that the scooter also features a comfortable riding position that is perfectly suited for the city riding.
At the heart of the Aprilia SR Motard 125 lies a 124 cc, single cylinder, four stroke engine which delivers a maximum output of 9.6 CV at 8,500 rpm and 8.2 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is fueled by a 7 liters fuel tank and its power is handled by a CVT transmission.
The scooter rides on 14 inch wheels wrapped in 120/70-14” tubeless tires.

The Aprilia SRV 850 is one of the sportiest scooters from the streets. It features a futuristic style and an ergonomic construction and also has a pretty versatile personality.
At the heart of the Aprilia SRV 850 sits a 839.3 cc, V 90° twin, 4-stroke, 4 valves engine which puts out a maximum power of 56 KW (76 CV) at 7,750 rpm and 76,4 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine is fueled by an 18.5 litres fuel tank.
The scooter is built on a rigid chassis, which gives it first class handling abilities and a great stability. The swingarm is made of cast aluminium and is combined with a preload adjustable, single hydraulic side-mounted shock absorber.
The Aprilia SRV 850 rides on aluminium five spoke rims which are wrapped in front and rear tubeless tires.

The Aprilia SR Motard 50 draws inspiration from the supermoto models. Its sharp-cut design body lines give it a pretty aggressive look and we especially like how Aprilia’s engineers have managed to combine the practicality of a scooter with the dynamic lines of a sport bike.
Built with efficiency in mind, the Aprilia SR Motard 50 is equipped with a 50cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke single-cylinder, 4-valves engine that delivers a maximum power of 3.4 KW at 9,500 Rpm and 3.8 Nm of torque at 8,000 Rpm. The engine’s power is kept in check by an automatic transmission with centrifugal clutch.
The scooter’s large and comfortable saddle bears color-coded red fabric and sporty white stitching while the large helmet compartment is big enough even for a flip up helmet.
It is also worthy of being mentioned that the scooter rides on big, gloss black 14" wheels with five double spokes.

Thanks to its unique personality, the Aprilia SR 50 has a class of its own. This tasty sport scooter features an ergonomic riding position, an aggressive design language and incorporates a wide range of technologies derived directly from its bigger brothers.
At the heart of the compact scoter lies a 49 cc, liquid cooled, horizontal, single cylinder two stroke engine with electronic direct fuel injection. The unit is mated to an automatic transmission with automatic centrifugal dry clutch.

The Aprilia Scarabeo 300s is an agile scooter designed with efficiency and simplicity in mind. Its dynamic style underlines its practical character and every detail received maximum attention from Aprilia’s designers.
The scooter is propelled by a single cylinder, four stroke engine with a displacement of 278.30 ccm (16.98 cubic inches). In terms of power, the engine puts out 16.40 HP (12.0 kW) at 7500 RPM and 22.00 Nm (16.2 ft.lbs) of torque at 6500 RPM. All this power is kept under control by an automatic gearbox. It is also worthy of being mentioned that the engine is fed by a pretty generous 10 liters fuel tank.
To reward its rider with a comfortable riding experience, the Aprilia Scarabeo 300s is equipped with a hydraulic fork up front and a hydraulic shock absorber at the rear.

The Aprilia Mojito is a compact scooter designed for those who are looking for an efficient way to move through the city. The motorcycle was built with efficiency and practicality in mind and is powered by a single cylinder, four-stroke engine with a displacement of 124.00 cc. The engine is controlled by means of an automatic transmission and is fed by an 8 liters fuel tank.
In terms of style the Mojito features a retro design language and draws inspiration from the american automobiles of the 1950s. You also get die-cast aluminium handlebars, a large chrome headlight, shiny aluminium controls, two chrome mirrors fitted as standard, a large, comfortable seat, custom front wheel, disc type rear wheel and lots of chrome.
The scooter’s backbone is represented by a single cradle frame made of a high strength steel tube. The frame sits on a trailing link fork and a rear hydraulic mono-shock absorber.
