2020 BMW S 1000 RR
The Bayerische Motoren Werke leads off its 2020 lineup with a new version of its race-tastic S 1000 RR. As usual for BMW, items that were optional equipment last year are now part of the standard equipment package; I’m talking about such features as all-around LED lighting, lean-sensitive ABS and an adjustable clutch lever, just to name a few. The 999 cc powerplant shed some weight and took on the ShiftCam technology in a bid to deepen the torque well a bit and pick up a few ponies in the process. In short, Beemer’s new street-legal racebike comes to the table with more of the goods that made the previous generations such a hit.
2019 BMW S 1000 RR
If you like your streetbike served with a side of track-day performance, BMW has good news for you in the form of its S 1000 RR. The “RR” marks one of those happy mediums between run-of-the-mill, supersport wannabes and the six-figure “proper” race machines, and it represents a significant return on its relatively low MSRP. Solid performance is supported by safety and stability systems, and that acts as a skill-multiplier to help you keep it dirty-side down.
2016 - 2019 BMW S 1000 XR
BMW put together the S 1000 XR for the adventuresome sort that prefers to stay on at least moderately civilized routes. Built on the proven S 1000 literbike platform, the XR really puts the “sport” in adventure-sport with a solid, 999 cc powerplant and a claimed top speed that lands upwards of the 125 mph mark. The XR also maintains a sportbike-like panache in spite of its adventuresome qualities, thus avoiding the blunt pragmatism associated with so many adv bikes. Of course, Beemer is a firm believer in better living through technology, and it includes a host of safety gadgets meant to help you keep it dirrty-side-down. Sound good yet? 2015 - 2018 BMW S 1000 RR
BMW has always had a presence in the motorcycle racing world, in fact the word “Beemer” was coined specifically for BMW’s race bikes of old, and the factory continues its blitz into the 21st century. The S 1000 RR is already part of that history, and it is marketed as a race bike, though truth to tell, the official factory race bike gets some features you won’t see on the street, but that isn’t unusual. Moved by a 999 cc engine that delivers nearly 200 hp, the S 1000 RR is nothing to take lightly. Salient point is; this bike is very close to the official race bike, which makes sense considering that it started life as a race bike in ’09 that spilled over into production for the general public the following year.

2015 - 2018 BMW R 1200 RS
BMW launched its newest sport-tour model, the R 1200 RS in 2015, and the model is a carryover into the 2018 model year with some upgraded goodies last year and this year. Beemer combined the top-shelf Automatic Stability Control, optional Electronic Suspension Adjustment, Dynamic Traction Control and variable power-delivery modes with a rather sporty platform, both in form and performance. The 1,170 cc, twin-cylinder boxer engine delivers power numbers that would embarrass many pure sport bikes and drives the RS into the realm of high-speed, long-distance riders.

BMW designed the F 800 GT to replace the aging F 800 ST, and improve upon the sport-touring capabilities of the family. The new model brings a sleeker, more modern look to the table along with improved performance out of the repurposed ST mill. In its stock configuration the GT comes with ABS as the only bit of gadgetry, but the list of available options includes Beemer’s Electronic Suspension and Automatic Stability Control to name a few. Sporty looks, updated electronics and enhanced comfort are all part of the package, but is it enough to compete in a market segment with so many tour-tastic sport bikes? Let’s find out.

The BMW R1200 RT was first introduced in the market back in 2005 when BMW Motorrad decided that its predecessor, the R1150 RT , was ready to hang up its gloves. Initial reaction towards the R1200 RT was overwhelmingly positive, enough at least for the bike to be named as the best touring bike in 2005 and 2006.
The accolades for the R1200 RT didn’t just end there. It was also named the UK’s number one motorcycle in 2006, 2007, and 2009. It’s lone blip was that second-place finish in 2008, preventing it from achieving that rare feat of being named the best bike across the pond for four years in a row.
Since then, the R1200 RT has staked its claim as one of the best tourers in the world, a distinction that it still proudly carries to this day. Sure, there have been some hiccups in the past, including a few recall issues, but for the most part, the R1200 RT has more than lived up to its billing as a worthy successor to the R1150 RT.

Sport-touring is the name of the game when you take a sportbike and give it an upright, comfortable seating position that’ll let you go for miles. The K 1300 S from BMW Motorrad is one of those bikes.
When standing still, the K 1300 S looks like it’s going to be fast. When you start it up, it sounds like it’s going to be fast. And you know what? When you ride it, it is fast. Sure there are bikes out there with more horsepower and higher top speeds, but the K 1300 S is built solid, it feels solid and when you get it out on the pavement, it doesn’t disappoint.

Since its introduction the BMW S1000RR has dominated the market. Despite the fact that the bike is around for over a decade its engine output has remained unchanged and the unit continues to develop 142 kW (193 hp) with a weight of only 204 kilograms including 90% fuel (206.5 weight with Race ABS).
However, the German engineers have constantly improved the engine by enhancing the linearity and harmoniousness of its power and torque curves. The same operation was made for 2013 and besides it the bike also comes with an upgraded suspension which boosts its riding dynamics.
The company didn’t stop to technical modifications and has also made a few design changes. The tail section now brings a considerably leaner look, while the asymmetrical side panels and the centre airbox cover are also slightly reshaped. Moreover, on the top side of the panels, a new, telling identifying feature takes the form of two winglets that enhance the aerodynamic qualities.

BMW revealed complete details about its HP and Dynamic Packages available for the BMW K1300S. The HP Package includes a tasty paint job which combines three contrasting hues namely Alpine White, Night Black and Lupine Blue to offer a unique appearance. This 2013 HP limited edition is equipped with extra HP Series parts like high-quality HP Carbon parts for the front wheel cover, battery cover and rear seat cowling, HP rearsets for the rider and passenger, a beautiful Akrapovic sports silencer and a paddock stand. There are only 750 units available in HP guise and every model is also offered with a unique, numbered plaque.
On the other hand the Dynamic Package can be combined with any color option and is offered with HP gearshift assistant, Akrapovic sports silencer, electronic suspension adjustment ESA II, automatic stability control ASC, tire pressure control RDC, heated grips and an onboard computer.

BMW has taken the wraps off its new BMW F800 GT mid-range model. The new bike is based on the old F 800 ST and is equipped with a water cooled 2 cylinder in line, 798 cc powerplant. The engine is slightly stronger than the one found on the old F 800 ST and develops a maximum output of 90 hp at 8000 rpm.
The bike comes with improved ergonomics, optimised wind and weather protection and a useful luggage system. It’s also worthy of being mentioned that the load capacity was increased by 11 kg to 207 kg.
The bike’s cockpit features fresh dial faces for speedometer and engine display, while the handlebar switch panels and front brake fluid expansion tank are also new.
On the equipments list you’ll find Automatic Stability Control ASC, Electronic Suspension Adjustment ESA, ABS and an Akrapovič sports silencer. For the new year there are also offered new paint schemes and lighter wheels.

The BMW S 1000 RR made its global debut in 2009 and only two years after the company comes with a revised model of this successful supersports bike with many optimized details. No changes have been made to the engine, but 193 HP are more than enough for a 449 lbs sports bike.
BMW’s first objective was to improve ridability by boosting thrust and enhancing the linearity and harmoniousness of the power and torque curves. Next they have modified the suspensions: the upside down fork and the spring strut feature a new internal structure and the geometry has been modified with new values for the steering head angle, offset, position of the swing arm pivot, fork projection, and spring strut length. The engine speed display has been redesigned for better readability.
As for design elements, the S 1000 RR gets a considerably leaner look: changes have been made to the asymmetrical side panels, and the centre airbox cover now sports side aperture grilles.
Color line-up includes: a combination of Racing red and Alpine white and new Sapphire black metallic.

The poison used by Brazilian Indians on their arrow tips was the inspiration behind Wunderlich’s new "Poisoned Arrow", the S 1000 RR in its legendary racing colours, which comes equipped with a whole array of special components.
An absolute visual treat, boasting technical and ergonomic improvements, with significant weight reductions and well suited to long distance riding. The “Power Sportego” handlebar conversion offers a relaxed riding posture and greater ease of handling. The top yoke, weighing in at a mere 1800 g, machined out of high-tensile aluminium, TÜV certified and ideally suited for use with our strong, tapered aluminium handlebars, has a built-in connection for the brake line, thus ruling out any need for elaborate and costly conversion measures.
The easy-to-fit fairing extension and matching “DoubleBubble” sports screen give rise to optimised air flow deflection over a wider area and improved aerodynamic properties.
Last year’s Intermot show in Germany saw BMW unveiling the 2009 K 1300 S, a bike that carries on the fame of the innovative K series by retaining the Duolever front suspension and single-sided swingarm with integrated shaft.
The new model makes a big impression on the industry’s scene not as much due to its 228 kg and 1293 cc inline-four engine that is capable of 175 hp, but more due to the optional quick shifter and the new ESA 2 (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) system.
Overall, the design hasn’t been changed except the slightly redesigned side fairings and black finished front air scoops. For 2009, the BMW K 1300 S is available in a range of new colors.
Sport Touring is a class well known to BMW because, well…BMW just about invented it. And now, with the completely redesigned R 1200 RT and the new-think R 1200 ST, the concept has been even further refined. The R 1200 RT replaces the exceptionally versatile and popular R 1150 RT, while the R 1200 ST replaces the R 1150 RS, the last version of the legendary motorcycle that started the modern Boxer era in model year 1994.
Even BMW fanatics are amazed at how our engineers were able to give the famed two cylinder Boxer engine even more power, topping the R 1200 S out to an incredible 122 bhp. The new S is also 22 lbs lighter than the previous model, and with a nimble Telelever front suspension, low center of gravity, optional ABS, hitting mountain passes of passes on the track is equally thrilling.
