2016 - 2020 Ducati XDiavel / XDiavel S
It’s safe to say that “cruiser” isn’t exactly the first word that comes to mind when I think of Ducati, or even the third, yet here we are with the XDiavel and its slightly dressier “S” stablemate carrying the brand into uncharted waters. The “X” signifies the cross and blending of the two worlds — cruiser and sport — and the end result is what the factory calls a “Techno-cruiser” due to its melding of Italian performance DNA and a more cruise-tastic rider triangle than you normally see from this brand. Powered by a 1,262 cc Testastretta engine, the XDiavel duo put the “sport” in “sport-cruiser” and opens the performance field to folks that ordinarily wouldn’t have such an option.

Ducati Diavel 1260 S - Media reveal
For the first time, the Ducati’s Devil looks sane.
First showcased at the EICMA motor show in Milan 2015, the xDiavel took all eyeballs for a trippy show. Long and low, with sleek and sexy lines, forward controls and a low seat height, this bike was something totally new from the Italian company known the world over for blending impeccable design and high-performance machines. Something like putting purists into a realm of more content and less bitter.
The bike always had a menacing outlook to it that was both handsome and evil at the same time. Rightfully it was quoted as ‘The Gentleman and The Bastard’. Now, the brand has given the premium ’S’ variant of the bike a whole new character that contradicts its otherwise antagonist outlook. And they did that by just having the bike painted in Iceberg White.
