The Chinese Clone Of The Ducati Scrambler Is So Bad, It’ll Give You Nightmares
After cloning American cruisers like the Harley-Davidson Iron 883 and the Indian Scout Bobber, the Chinese have now shifted focus to the Italian giant Ducati. The result isn’t a Chinese Panigale or a Streetfighter (because it’s already been done), instead, it’s a cheapskate 150cc iteration of the Ducati Scrambler hailing from China’s Jialing Group.
Cheap Chinese Copies of The Ducati Streetfighter and Panigale Are So Bad You Won’t Believe It
Although you might laugh, this motorcycle crash video (caught by the security camera) isn’t entirely funny. It shows a man riding his Ducati Monster and apparently attempting to perform a stoppie. His attempt is unsuccessful and he ends up smashing into not so bone-friendly security gates.
We feel sorry for his idiocy and hope he didn’t suffer sever injury!
This summer we presented to you the “Best way to run for your life”, but this new post is not about running, but all about camouflaging and easily making your way through the urban jungle.
A feline among motorcycles, this unique approach towards a Ducati Monster can seem the result of inspiring paintjob, but taking a look closer you’ll notice how the gummy gas tank stands for the chest and the rear end for the butt. Everything in between is also meant to copy the shape of a tiger. The nicest touch is indeed the long tail, but I also like to think that the dual exhaust system is meant to look like the beast’s feet in full stretch in a chase for prey. Even the sidestand has the shape of a paw!
By this time you must be wondering if the bike’s name isn’t by any chance Shere Khan and the lucky owner is Mowgli, but I would have to disappoint you by saying that it was simply called the Ducati Tiger and the lucky owner is named Steve Metz.
