Celebrating 30 years of this monster, the 2020 model gets a blacked-out theme, converting the satin-chrome outlook to a sinful looking “Vivid-Black” theme. And running this evil hooligan is the thumping Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin engine.

Riding A Trike Isn’t Just For Old Folks Anymore

Harley-Davidson’s three-wheeled Tri Glide Ultra moved into the 2017 model year with a handful of improvements and a brand-spanking new engine. The factory powers it with its powerful Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine introduced last year that cranks out over 100 pounds o’ grunt to place it well into the power-cruiser category, even though H-D markets it as a tour bike. Exhaust components rerouting addressed heat problems from prior model-years, and the King of Paint added a couple of new, two-tone paint schemes to the palette for 2017, as well as a 115th Anniversary model for 2018. Harley’s target market for this beast mainly consists of persons who are unwilling or unable to manage one of their admittedly top-heavy, two-wheeled tourers for one reason or another, and I’ve always considered it to be a very laudable thing to try and make sure that anyone who wants bugs in their teeth can have it.

Harley-Davidson is rolling out a fleet of new bikes, all of which should make fans of the iconic American motorcycle maker drool and grab for their wallets at the soonest possible time.

Even better, at least a few of these models are limited edition pieces, including the 2012 V-Rod 10th Anniversary, a commemorative model that celebrates the 10th anniversary of the brand’s V-Rod model.

In developing the frame for the bike, Harley went above and beyond to make something that will catch the awe and adulation of its customer base. Using an innovative process called hydrofoaming, Harley was able to build a strong chassis that features unconventional angles while applying fewer welds and bending and shaping metal pipes with high-pressure water. To go with the unique chassis, Harley-Davidson decked out the V-Rod 10th Anniversary model with plenty of striking features, including a Brilliant Silver Pearl bodywork that bears a striking similarity to the anodized aluminum bodywork of the original V-Rod models. There’s also an aluminum speed screen, a drag-style low rise handlebar, dual chromed mufflers, heat shields, polished forks, clamps, and handlebars, silver split 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels with machined highlights, a silver instrument cluster, a two-up bucket saddle, and special edition V-Rod 10th Anniversary badges.

Powering the V-Rod 10th Anniversary model is an engine that Harley built in collaboration with Porsche, an innovative technical masterpiece called the 1,250cc V-Twin Revolution. It’s a fuel injected, liquid cooled powertrain that comes with dual overhead cams, producing an output of 125 horsepower and 84 lb/ft of torque at 7,000 rpm with a combined fuel efficiency rating of 37 mpg.

The attached price tag for this special edition Harley-Davidson V-Rod 10th Anniversary model is $15,999, which is by no means cheap. But given the special edition tag and the fact that it’s a Harley-Davidson, there will always be a strong appeal for it in the bike-riding population of America.

Japanese denim brand, Evisu, may not be a familiar name to a lot of people in this side of the world, but over in Japan and Asia, the fashion house is quite a big name. So now that the company is celebrating its 20th anniversary, it only seems fitting to have something special done to commemorate the occasion. By taking a Harley Davidson bike and dressing it up in spectacular fashion, Evisu did exactly that.

Together with the Harley-Davidson dealership in London-Warr, the oldest Harley dealer in Europe, Evisu created a customized, hand-made, limited edition Kamone Sprinter, a bike that combines vintage styling with modern bad-assery, thanks to the the extensive use of black, chrome, and gold that serve as its primary colors.

The meticulous styling details crafted into the bike also underscore Evisu’s goal of making this bike a true one-off jewel. In addition to the fancy three-piece scheme, Evisu also made sure to give plenty of design inspirations from their brand, one that emphasizes pure functionality with timeless elegance.

“Synonymous with luxurious craftsmanship and one-off design, The Evisu Warr’s Harley-Davidson Motorbike, aptly named the Kamome Sprinter, showcases the creativity and hand-made practices for which both brands are famous,” the Japanese denim brand said in a statement.

“Welding, carving, bending metal; stitching, riveting denim, and embossing and treating leather – the Evisu heritage is celebrated throughout the entire motorcycle, and the same technical exactness that Evisu rule by was taken into account,” it added.

The bike has been tagged as a limited edition – rightfully so – that costs £35,000, which is about $58,000 based on current exchange rates. Anybody interested in owning this rare Harley can avail of it at the Evisu store in London.

2010 Harley-Davidson FLHTCUSE5-BLK CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide

Harley-Davidson has just launched a limited edition run of the CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide for 2010 and their goal is to drift away from the self-created stylistical patterns. A simple look at their new high-end model is enough to see that chrome is almost completely absent. Instead, H-D uses no less than 185 unique black parts, components and accessories, not to mention the Crimson Mist Black / Dark Slate and Flame graphics base color.

Those expecting an all-new model must find that this is not the case. The bike is exclusive, but remains a Black version of the standard CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide. It is powered by the same Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110 engine displacing 1803cc, developing 115 pound-feet of torque and mated to the same six-speed Cruise Drive transmission. As expected, the massive powerplant features both black and chrome.

Touring goodies such as a 160-watt CD/AM/FM/WB/MP3 Advanced Audio System by Harman-Kardon, CB and intercom, passenger audio with controls, cruise control and standard XM Radio as well as a Garmin Road Tech zūmo 660 GPS unit make life on board much more pleasurable.
