More on the Harley-Davidson Iron 1200
The Harley-Davidson Iron 1200 sets itself apart from its 883 equivalent with a larger-diameter front hoop, bullet fairing, and high-rise handlebar. It rocks mid-mount foot controls for the confidence and nimbleness they add with a solo seat ahead of a clean rear fender. The Iron 1200 features dated tank decals that give it a very Seventies panache.
Power comes from a 1,203 cc Evolution Sportster engine that hails all the way back to 1986 for its design to make it one of the longest-running engines to come out of the MoCo. The 1200 range offers something to a spread of rider types, from the entry level up through the crowd who just likes lightweight, American-style cruisers. Blackout treatment is widespread, and the front forks come with bellow gaiters for a final dash of retro styling.
