The 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS was built using the latest technologies developed by the Japanese manufacturer and is ready to hit both the race tracks and city streets.
The motorcycle is powered by a compact, narrow and lightweight engine which comes with large intakes valves, chromoly camshafts and strong connecting rods. Moreover, the Intake and exhaust valves are titanium to reduce reciprocating weight and stress at high rpm. The engine has a displacement of 998 cc and is paired with a six speed transmission.
Needless to say that the ride is kept in check by a set of sporty suspensions. The Shock and linkage are positioned above the swingarm, a layout that offers excellent road-holding, smooth suspension action, and stability and feedback when cornering.
The Ninja ZX-10R is equipped with Kawasaki’s Intelligent anti-lock Braking (KIBS), which is combined with front dual semi-floating 310mm petal discs with dual four-piston radial-mount calipers and a rear single 220mm petal disc paired with an aluminum single-piston caliper.

Combustion chamber shapes are newly optimized for 2012, and they’re surface-milled now, not cast. Moreover, intake ports are reshaped and polished for maximum flow while working in concert with longer and more durable intake valves.

Despite its sporty character, the Kawasaki Ninja 650 can be used without problems as a daily commuter but also for long journeys. The Ninja 650 has a long history behind it and every generation was among the most wanted bikes of its time.
During its long life, the middleweight motorcycle was continuously improved and today is still considered one of the best models in its class. The Kawasaki Ninja 650R is entering the 2011 model year with no major updates, just some minor tricks and some new exterior colors. It is powered by a compact 8-valve 649cc parallel-twin engine, which permits the use of a narrow, lightweight frame. The fuel injection and ignition settings are tuned to boost the liquid-cooled engine’s bottom-end torque, to smooth the low-to-mid rpm response and allow the engine to rev quicker. The engine meets stringent emissions regulations thanks to its precise fuel injection and a three-way catalyst system with a 300-cell catalyzer.
The 2011 Ninja 650R is defined by sporty styling. It gets integrated turn signals and a sharp tail cowl, MotoGP-inspired multi-function instrumentation and controls. Thanks to them, the rider will notice the slimness of the chassis, low seat height and minimal effort controls first before recognizing the true aim of Kawasaki’s design efforts – the rider.

The all-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R race bike has been unveiled to international press at the Nürburgring race track, and at the same time the riders for the 2011 World Superbike Championship season were introduced.
The presentation of the new bike and riders comes just before the German round of The World Superbike Championship, which will take place at the Nürburgring race track this weekend.
The new Ninja ZX-10R race bike has been eagerly anticipated by everyone involved in the Superbike racing project for a while now and therefore the Kawasaki Superbike Racing Team are extremely keen to get started with the new Ninja ZX-10R. The team unveiled the first edition of the race bike during a press conference that marked the start of the Nürburgring WSBK round, which will be held this weekend.
The unveiling of the new Ninja ZX-10R will mark a new start for Kawasaki in the World Superbike Championship. From 2011, the Kawasaki World Superbike Racing Team will receive more means and more support from the mother company in Japan.
After a first teaser image unveiled at the end of June, Kawasaki unveiled today the first official image of the 2011 Ninja ZX-10R race bike. The motorcycle is preparing for a 2-day test at the Suzuka race track in Japan where the bike will prepare for the 2011 World Superbike Championship. A road-going version based on this model will also be unveiled at a later date. It is rumored to come with a more aggressive look, a completely restyled fairing and exhaust, new chassis and new engine that will deliver more than 200 HP. Road going model will feature the usual green ninja paint scheme as with all the previous Ninja models.
However when launched the new ZX-10R will have strong competition on the market (Yamaha YZF-R1, Honda CBR-1000RR, and also the Suzuki GSX-R 1000) so is no wonder that Kawasaki will do its best to improve their motorcycle as much as possible.

Nobody would want to see an “Altered Rat” unless it’s the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R special owned by Brian Johnson, who is a big fan of the rat bike style. The bike was done in the Altered Chrome Garage using the company’s own parts and it is the only one of its kind that we’ve seen so far.

They say you need to be a certain kind of biker in order to ride a trike and it is not hard to recognize the type as the biking crowd passes along, so hearing about a guy having turned a 2001 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R into a trike raises a few question marks regarding to what kind of rider would do that and why. Simeon Hill is a brit who’s 155mph Kawi trike featuring a custom-built frame, a push-button gearshift system, Akrapovic exhaust, modified axle and differential from a Ford Sierra made it to Trike magazine. Sure, the 17-inch rear wheels with 235 x 50 tires also had much to do with the achievement, but mostly with what our man built it for. So let’s see what Hill has to say: ‘I built this trike to handle. I have turned a few heads and surprised many sportsbike riders on twisty Yorkshire and Lincolnshire roads. It’s taken me on local jaunts, weekend trips and longer trips around Europe, not only keeping up with my friends’ sportsbikes but also giving them a good run for their money.’
Kawasaki produced and sold the Ninja250R for 20 years before considering an upgrade and getting at work to develop a brand new model, the one that was launched a couple of yeast ago and which started a complete frenzy especially among beginning riders. Soon turning into Kawi’s best selling sport bike, the Ninja 250R carries on as a 2010 model year with virtually nothing changed on it, so the only rightful question related to it is: “Will it be the same 20 years from now?”

Although Kawasaki initially had plans to launch an entirely new Ninja ZX-10R for 2010, their final decision was to stick to what they already had and slightly improve their open class sportbike in an almost unnoticeable manner. The move doesn’t turn the 2010-spec Ninja ZX-10R into a threat for the competition, but this would still have to deal with a more aggressive look and small technical tweaks now characterizing the Green racing motorcycle with headlights.
It is no secret to anyone that Kawasaki’s supersport look didn’t evolve quite as it should have during the past few years and people have even started calling the ZX-6R and the ZX-10R “ugly”. While we don’t entirely agree with that and we should give Kawi credit for repairing its faults starting with the 2010 models, it is also nice to check out how MotoRevue’s Jérôme Vannesson imagines the 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R will look like.
This photoshop rendering unveils precisely what the motorcycle press is expecting from the future generation liter bike: angular lines that would reflect a blend of features found on visually attractive motorcycles such as the Hornet, from which it gets the tail and RC8 or YZF-M1 fairing with ZX-14 venting gills. Also, the paintjob is very attractive and still in accordance with the Team Green standards.
Kawasaki has never ever thought at manufacturing a Ninja chopper, but it seems that this owner has taken measures by itself and came up with this bad idea for a chopper. I guess I never really considered how ridiculous a ZX-6R with longer forks and sidestand can look.
But looking at the bright side, it is now much easier to pull out a wheelie; all you really have to do is try to get moving.
Kawasaki starts the week at full throttle and releases the first photos and info regarding four of their 2010 street models, the Ninja ZX-10R, Z1000, Concours 14 and Versys. We have come to find that they are a bit retained with the upgrades, something that defines their strategy in the uncertain times that we’re traversing.
The best example in this concern is definitely the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, which gets the looks of its middleweight brother, the ZX-6R, and an 18-position Ohlins steering damper. I believe it’s in vain mentioning how much more we were expecting considering the competition in this class, but in the end 200bhp is nothing to laugh at.
At least Kawasaki doesn’t break the “all-new 2010 Z1000” promise and the new bike will be powered by a 1,043cc inline-four engine developing 136bhp and 81lb/ft of torque. The frame is now made of aluminum while the suspension and brakes are new as well and the thing has a dry weight of 436.9lbs (198.2kg). The 2010 Kawasaki Z1000 also looks new, but that doesn’t necessarily mean better. It should make a statement against motorcycles such as the Ducati Streetfighter and MV Agusta Brutale 1090RR, but definitely not at a first glance.
The 2010 Kawasaki Concours 14 gets traction control and a fuel economy mode as well as anti-lock brakes and a much more appealing design.
At the bottom of our list is the new Kawasaki Versys, which gets a new strange headlight and what we dare calling a facelift. Powered by the same 62bhp 649cc parallel-twin, this versatile middleweight motorcycle
should now be an even sweeter ride thanks to the new footpegs with rubber inserts, clearly a nice touch claimed to reduce vibrations.

It seems that Marco Melandri itself advised German builder Hoely to develop this MotoGP kit for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R as the racing bike’s rider believes the original bike can easily be turned into a MotoGP replica for the road by customers who had enough of the standard color schemes and graphics.
We have to admit that the Italian MotoGP rider thought well and the Germans were clever in following his ideas because bikes are pretty much like cars: you buy them new, drive/ride them for a couple of months and already start thinking at ways to make them better. And what better way to improve a stock Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R than making it look like its racing sibling?
Kane Friesen is a Canadian stunt rider and the current record holder of the world’s fastest nose wheelie after managing to lift the rear end of his 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R at the amazing speed of 137 mph and then coming to a complete stop. The previous record of 98 mph was set by Gary Rothwell in 2002, but like the wheelie master himself says: “my personal goal is 135 mph to set the bar so high up that no other rider wants to even attempt it any time soon.”
Former professional body piercer, Kane’s longest wheelie was of 12 miles, while he’s fastest stoppie measures more than 900ft.
During the British Supersport race at Brands Hatch on Sunday, Chris Martin’s Kawasaki motorcycle broke down, locking the rear wheel. The rider was thrown from the seat and sent bouncing way over the barrier during what has to be one of the most dangerous crashes of this racing season. In fact, this ended the season for Chris Martin, but he is expected back on two wheels next year.
Team Gearlink Kawasaki has issued a report regarding the crash:
Chris has suspected 3 broken vertebrae, will not know for sure until neck/back specialist has seen him. He has broken his ankle and will now be out of action for the rest of the season.....:-((

When buying a motorcycle, some riders look for speed and others for comfort, but the most challenging part for motorcycle makers was to build one machine that meets these two requests. There you have the incredible Honda Goldwing meeting the comfort standards of even the most demanding riders, but you still have to earn enough money to buy and maintain such a model. The guy who did this to his Kawasaki Ninja clearly doesn’t, but we certainly can’t blame him for that. This is just an original way to make sure he still has a vertebral spine in his 70s.

This Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 has undergone a serious transformation so that it will delight an owner clearly passionate of Egypt’s glory days and, of course, motorcycling. Ancient looks meet modern technology on this not to be missed long haul sports motorcycle spotted on the streets of Australia.
Apparently, this guy considers himself a smaller Shaq O’Neal and, so, it is inspired by the famous big guy’s jumps over cars and barbeques to pull out this very stupid and unsuccessful attempt to jump over a speeding Kawasaki Ninja. Now that’s a very nice way of making sure that your family jewels will never be productive again!
The internet abounds with motorcycle riding guides, motorcycle riding tips as well as with advices for choosing the best motorcycle to start riding on, but some riders simply work with what they have and develop their own, more or less efficient, techniques for gaining those much needed skills.
Today, it’s all about maneuvering the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R at slow speed around the parking lot. Although it doesn’t sound dangerous (actually, it isn’t), most riders end up tipping their bikes over in the process so an innovative mind was needed. Apparently, the owner of this Kawi came with the oldest idea of them all – bolting on a pair of training wheels, which actually look genuine so I’m not asking where those came off from.
By looking at the rear tire, I can only be amazed by the fact that someone is actually riding that thing as such.
Some bikes simply never end up their statements about comfort, user-friendliness, manageable power, but mostly reliability. One such motorcycle is Kawasaki’s Ninja 500R, a consecrated two-wheeler with a taste for modern days too. Freshly painted in Kawi’s latest and greatest color (Plasma Blue), the 2009 model year carries on teaching beginners a thing or two about sports riding while providing an enjoyable ride too.
Although the more recent alternative known as the Ninja 650R has developed into a great success too, riders keep on heading towards this latest’s smaller sibling and so revive the traditional learning and then exploiting way.
I can understand the fact that people feel the need to ride their motorcycles in the winter. I also ride in sunny January afternoons and afterwards complain about my rheumatism, but I never experienced the need to ride on a lake. Apparently, this guy did and didn’t ended up pretty well (he probably risks hypothermia while his buddies try to rescue his submerged Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle).
A racing motorcycle with headlights such as the 2009 Kawasaki ZX6R couldn’t find a better place for a commercial than the track, but Kawi goes even further and visualizes an Area 51 sort of environment. That is very inspired as the characteristic color for these bikes is Green.
The most adequate alternative to a full-face helmet is, strangely, not an open face one, but a protective shield added to your motorcycle’s fairing.

On the 30th of March at the Vallelunga track in Italy Kawasaki fans will have the great opportunity of witnessing the second edition of the Ninja Trophy. A race will be held and the participants are owners of the 2007 and 2008 model year Kawasaki ZX-6R so we at least know what bike will win, let’s wait for the rider.

Produced by Two Bros, the Kawasaki ZX-6R of Bubba includes many mechanical modifications including the most impressive under-the-seat exhaust I’ve ever seen.
The rims look like taken from a Cadillac and the graphics are truly exceptional, but why don’t you check it out yourself?
If I was to define the Ninja ZX-6R in just a few words, I would say that it is one of the best examples concerning fast cornering, hard-hitting accelerations and high-speed stability in the 600cc class. I wouldn’t be able to suppress my opinions and avoid naming it the sleekest racer out there.
Designing the Ninja 500R, Kawasaki established a perfect balance between function, form and budget that isn’t seen quite often in this domain. It is awesome for a rider to know that it buys a bike which initiates him and than becomes a nice, ready to rip ride.
The 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R is situated at the line between rider-friendly behavior and top Ninja styling. The recipe seemed to be very simple: keep the twin-cylinder engine and sporty chassis and dress everything nicely in a fairing inspired on bigger Ninjas.
It is hard to believe that a machine like Kawasaki ZX6R can be improved with aftermarket components but Rizoma offers a kit for each and every speed monster out there and this model is no exception.

When you say “Ninja” you think about power, style and performance. In developing the Ninja ZX-6R’s chassis, the Kawasaki engineers concentrated on designing a machine that allows high corner entry speed and high mid-corner speed.
As a result the new Ninja ZX-6R offers the power of a high-performance 600 mated with the nimble handling characteristics of a small-displacement racer - a combination that will put this bike at the head of the pack in 2007.
McAdoo Kawasaki Racing and Ian Hutchinson left the 2006 Ulster Grand Prix as world record holders, with Ian setting the fastest road race lap record at a staggering 130.828mph! Hutchinson also set a new lap record for the 600cc class at 125.433mph.
The opening race of the day was the Superstock 1000cc class and Hutchy was extremely confident of victory as the Kawasaki ZX-10R Superstock is an awesome machine.
