Kawasaki Showcases Hybrid Sportbike & Electric Naked At Suzuka 8 Hours
The Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race is a prestigious affair in Japan, especially for Japanese bike companies. So it’s only fair to use this stage to showcase future products, and that’s exactly what Kawasaki did.
Making full use of the stage, the Japanese giant brought out not one but two electric motorcycles to the Suzuka circuit for a parade lap of sorts. Let’s take a closer look.
US Bound: Kawasaki’s Plans for the Ninja ZX-4R Exposed
A little while ago, we threw some light on Kawasaki’s intention to introduce an inline-four, 400cc sportbike, similar to the Ninja ZX-25R. Taking a step in this very direction, the Japanese marquee has registered an interesting VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) with the U.S. authorities which not only confirms the Ninja ZX-4R but also its arrival in America.
2022 Kawasaki KLR 650 - Performance, Price, and Photos
Kawasaki leaps ahead to its 2022 model-year lineup with a new KLR 650 family. The base model comes with a number of improvements to the engine and electronics, all wrapped up under new bodywork. Fuel injection replaces the carburetor this year to modernize the powerplant along with a new instrument panel and updated lighting. If the base model isn’t exactly as adventure-tastic as you’d like, the factory put together an “Adventure” accessory pack and a touring “Traveler” trim package for a pair of bona fide adventure bikes that are good to go right off the showroom floor.
2022 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 - Performance, Price, and Photos
Kawasaki entered the 2017 model year with an eye toward the small-displacement adventure-bike market, and the all-new Versys-X 300 was its weapon of choice for this new front. The “X” joined the rest of the Versys adventure-bike lineup with the characteristic family flylines atop unique features. Most apparent is the 296 cc engine attractive to riders looking to enter the adventure world as well as riders emerging as the new generation of pragmatic buyers.
2022 Kawasaki Ninja H2 R - Performance, Price, and Photos
Many of the major players offer a pure-D racetrack hypersport for the public’s consumption, and for Kawasaki, that honor falls to the freshly updated Ninja H2 R. The H2 R brings the best Kawi has to offer along with top-flight aerodynamics and a supercharged engine along with a full electronics suite making it a threat on the track right out of the box.
That’s about the only place it’s a threat though, since the H2 R is far too awesome to be street legal. As a track-only bike, it wastes not an ounce on any silly old mirrors, headlights, or turn signals. Carbon-fiber components complete the package with their own brand of lightweight strength.
2022 Kawasaki W800 - Performance, Price, and Photos
Kawasaki draws on its very own historical roots for the newest addition to its “W” range with the reintroduced-for-2020 W800. This authentically retro ride doles out a healthy dollop of nostalgia for the 40-plus crowd, but beneath the classic veneer beats the heart of a thoroughly modern machine. An air-cooled twin delivers the goods with over 40 pounds o’ grunt and many of the ride-quality electronic features riders have come to expect to round out the package.
Tricked-out Kawasaki GPZ 900 R Fuses With The Ninja H2 R To Honor The Top Gun Movies
The iconic Top Gun franchise made a comeback this year and, as expected, shattered the box office records. While it was the action that mesmerized most people, Tom Cruise belting the Kawasaki Ninja H2 R was the highlight for motorcycle enthusiasts like you, me, and also Milan’s FTG Moto bike shop.
Taking inspiration from the scene, the bike shop celebrated the Maverick’s comeback in its own special way, preparing a custom bike that blends the iconic GPZ 900 R from the 1986 Top Gun and the Ninja H2 R from the new movie.
2019 - 2022 Kawasaki Z400 - Performance, Price, and Photos
Kawasaki needed to plug a hole in its super-naked lineup between the Z300 and the Z650, so it cooked up the new Z400 ABS to do the job. Aggressive Kawi styling dominates the look, but not necessarily the attitude, to make the Z400 an excellent commuter/first upgrade from whatever you cut your teeth on. The ergonomics are friendly to shorter inseams and conducive to relaxed riding, so this is a bike that should cover a range of body types.

Top 10 Motorcycles for Beginners
Whether you’re just starting out in motorcycling or returning to riding after a few years away, there is a great choice of small bikes out there that don’t look or feel like small bikes. They will all remain attractive once the first months of learning to ride are over.
Whilst the bikes in this list are great for beginners, they also make great choices as second bikes to use to buzz around town instead of your gas-guzzling car. All of them make perfect alternatives to big bikes, for example in the adventure bike or touring categories.
What do beginners want from a motorcycle? They want a bike that doesn’t look or feel like a bike for beginners: they want a real motorcycle that will gain the respect of their fellow riders. It must be light and easy to handle, with not too much power to be intimidating while they are learning but not so little that they will soon tire of it when they get more experienced.
A real win for the manufacturers is that none of these bikes are seen by seasoned riders as beginners bikes: a lot of fun can be had on any of them, no matter your skill level.
Top Naked Streetfighter Motorcycles
At one point in history, all motorbikes were naked, but that all changed as the 1980s came around. Putting an aerodynamic fairing on was a good way of getting more performance without the costly development of the engine. Fast forward to the 2000s, and manufacturers are busy taking the fairings off their superbikes to create naked streetfighter models, which are much more practical and suitable for everyday use, while being just as dynamically impressive. This is our list of the top ten naked streetfighters available in 2022.
Top 10 Sports Bikes Under $15,000 in 2022
Not all of us can afford high-end sports bikes but, equally importantly, not many of us could ride them properly, either. Lowering the asking price brings a lot more bikes into the equation and most of them are brilliantly user-friendly while still offering all the thrills you could wish for. Talking about sports bikes is quite difficult because what exactly is a sports bike? Is it a bike with a fairing or can a naked bike be a sports bike also? For the purpose of this list, we’re assuming the latter, just to make you think a bit.
Kawasaki’s First Electric Motorcycle Looks Super Fun, But You Can’t Ride It
After what seems like an eternity, Kawasaki has finally jumped aboard the EV bandwagon and launched its first of many electric motorcycles, the Elektrode. Sadly, though, this isn’t the “dream” Kawasaki electric bike everyone was hoping for, and there’s a high chance neither you nor us will be swinging a leg over this. It is, however, a step in the right direction.
Top Bagger Motorcycles Available In 2022
A Bagger is a motorcycle that is equipped with panniers but is much leaner and lighter than a full-dress touring bike: it’s the best of both worlds - practicality alongside style and great riding dynamics helped by less weight. Here’s our list of the best baggers available in 2022.
The Beloved Kawasaki Ninja 400 and Z400 Get Greener For 2023 (Literally!)
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 and Z400 are two of the most popular motorcycles in the entry-level motorcycle space. However, back in 2020, Kawasaki had to axe these models for most markets (barring America) as the bikes fell prey to stringent Euro-5 norms. After a brief hiatus, though, Kawasaki is finally undoing its mistake and has taken the wraps off the 2023 Ninja 400 and Z400 with a few detrimental updates.
The Fastest Production Motorcycles on the Planet
Speed: the one statistic that really gets peoples’ hearts racing, whether you can use it or not! Since the dawn of motorcycling, speed has been the only obsession worth talking about and the top speeds of production motorcycles have climbed steadily over the decades. At one point, the manufacturers were scared things were getting too fast and feared legislation would clip their wings, but that seems to have gone by the wayside since Kawasaki launched the H2. Here’s our list of the top ten fastest motorcycles, whether they are still in production or not.
2022 Kawasaki Z900RS SE - Performance, Price, and Photos
Kawasaki built upon the success of its Z900RS with the new-for-2022 SE trim package that adds significant modern rider-support technology with high-performance brake and suspension components to its retro-tastic platform. This bike is a rare treat for riders with an appreciation for late-’60-through-’70s UJM architecture, but are unwilling to compromise on performance and electronics.
