The Moto Morini Granpasso H83 is one of the newest models launched by the Italian manufacturer. The new model has a lot to love, but it manages to stand out from the crowd thanks to its capable V-twin engine. The 87° V-Twin, liquid cooled unit is made in Italy and cranks out a maximum power of 118 hp @ 8500 rpm and 103.6 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. The engine is combined with a similarly sporty six speed transmission and a generous 27 liters fuel tank.
The V-Twin unit is mounted on a high-strength tubular trellis frame which is backed up by a set of capable suspensions. The Moto Morini Corsaro Avio is a sporty looking streetfighter designed for speed lovers. The bike uses a compact tube frame that lets us see the Bialberto CorsaCorta engine in its full glory. Talking about the engine, it churns out 88 Kw - 120 Hp @ 8500 rpm and 102 Nm - 10.4 Kgm Nm of torque @ 6700 rpm. It is mated on a six speed constant mesh gearbox and is combined with an 18 liters fuel tank.
The motorcycle weighs 198 kg and is packed with a set of sporty suspensions which consist of a front front Marzocchi Magnum fork with 50mm diameter stems and a rear asymmetric fork with a single adjustable Sachs shock absorber.

The Moto Morini Scrambler was built on the foundation of the 9 ½ project and was especially developed for crossover use. In its off road adventures, the motorcycle is helped by its massive 19 inch front and 17 inch rear wheels which are wrapped in tread-blocked tyres.
As far as design goes, the Scrambler looks pretty good featuring a rugged, but pretty modern style. The 21 liter tank is one of the most striking styling elements and has a sporty and ergonomic design which is not intrusive for the rider. Moto Morini has set their eyes on the adventure segment and the Granpasso 1200 model is the best example in this concern. The 2009 model year was brand new and they’ve already found new ways to improve the overall 2010 product, meaning that the competition can already start worrying.
There has always been a special something about naked European motorcycles and the recently announced 2010 Moto Morini Corsaro 1200 Veloce is the Italian motorcycle manufacturer’s demonstration of power as veloce means high-speed in Italian. This tends to make the bike even more special and increase our interest regarding it.
Yet another star from the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany is the 2009 Moto Morini Scrambler, a high displacement naked bike that shares its class with the Triumph having the same name.
The Moto Morini is indeed a fierce competitor thanks to its 1187cc V-Twin engine and tough looks, which makes us wonder when the English maker will make its 2009 comeback.
Featuring 19-inch wheels dressed in off-road rubber and supported by Marzocchi inverted forks with many protective attachments, the Moto Morini Scrambler is the perfect companion from where the asphalt ends. Equipped with Brembo brakes, it will provide the best of stopping power, but on that same surface, something that makes us tend to call the Triumph Scrambler a better all-around bike. But we will wait to see for ourselves what the Morini can do and we’ll then give a verdict.
