Chicara Nagata of Chicara Motorcycles in Saga, Japan, was voted the 2006 Official World Champion Custom Bike Builder at the third annual staging of what is now regarded by builders and industry insiders alike as the world's most prestigious open custom bike building competition (AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Builing).

The winning bike, 'Chicara Art', a hand-crafted steel, aluminum and chrome tribute to the 1937 model U Harley-Davidson, combines the current popularity of retro styling with the World Championship competitor community's desire to honor originality, precision and high levels of one-off engineering.
