BMW has just launched the new F 800 R, a naked bike powered by a parallel twin engine with electronic fuel injection. Displacing 798 cc, this makes 87 hp and 86 Nm of torque also thanks to an Akrapovic sport silencer retrofitted, ensuring that a crazy sound accompanies the awesome performance.

The 320-millimetre Brembo double disk brake at the front ensures maximum stopping power, while optional BMW Motorrad ABS and TPC Tyre Pressure Control further enhance safety. Also, highly maneuverable, thanks in part to the lightweight aluminum in its rigid frame and dynamically styled double swing-arm, which helps keep its dry weight down to just 177 kilograms, this makes for a great all around product, especially for twisted European back roads. This is also where BMW made the three videos attached to this article so that you get a good impression of what the 2009 BMW F 800 R is made for.

One more video after the jump.
