Every other day we get to see new EVs popping onto the scene, but only a few of them actually make headlines.

One such EV, belonging to the latter kind, is the Alrendo TS Bravo, an electric motorcycle hailing from Europe, which boasts a massive 438km (272 miles) range on a single charge without breaking the bank with it. Intrigued? Well, let’s take a look.

Alrendo TS Bravo Electric Motorcycle - Design & Features

Design-wise, the Alrendo TS Bravo looks quite..normal, with no ‘futuristic’ design elements, something that I, personally, think makes the transition from ICE to EVs easier. Anyway, the design is good-looking and the overall stance of the motorcycle looks similar to the Benelli 502 C cruiser.

The whole design is quite clean, with barely any exposed wires and even the finish levels appear premium, at least from the photos.

The cruiser-like design is accompanied by a super-tall handlebar and a low 30-inch seat height which should give it a relaxed riding posture.

Coming to features, like most electric bikes, the TS Bravo boasts a TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, ABS, and all-LED lighting. Again, no futuristic tech or game-changing claims, just the necessary bits.

Alrendo TS Bravo Electric Motorcycle - Battery, Motor & Underpinnings

Under the skin, the TS Bravo boasts a mid-mounted 11kW (continuous) motor mated to a humongous 17.4kWh battery pack. The former helps it reach a top speed of 135kmph (84mph) while the latter is the reason for the impressive 438km (272 miles) claimed range.

It’s worth noting, however, that this range is achieved at an average speed of 50kmph (31mph), i.e. mainly city riding. Once on open roads, the range drops to 278km (172 miles), averaging at 50mph while riding at triple-digit speeds (75mph) brings it to about 160km (100 miles), which is still pretty decent.

As for underpinnings, the suspension features 41mm USD forks and a mono-shock, both adjustable while stopping duties are courtesy of dual 300mm front discs and a 240mm single rear disc.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the bike tips the scale at 540 pounds, which is similar to what more powerful bikes like the Harley-Davidson LiveWire and the Zero SR/F weigh.

Alrendo TS Bravo Electric Motorcycle - What’s The Price?

_

Alrendo has priced the TS Bravo at 11,200 Euros (~$12,300), which makes it a good proposition in the market.

Now, a $12,000 price tag isn’t cheap in any manner, but when you look at bikes like the Zero SR/F which average at around $20,000, this simply comes out as a more viable option for day-to-day riding around town. Unless, of course, your priority is performance.
