At some point in time, every person has fantasized about space, and the thought of becoming an astronaut followed suit. However, instead of exploring space in a spacecraft, most of us end up on a commuter scooter/bike on course to “explore” the food section at the nearest supermarket. But what if we told you there was a way to look as cool as an astronaut even while traveling to your local supermart? Before you start calling us cuckoo, allow us to introduce these cool spacecraft-inspired electric bike renderings made by artist Fajar Ismail.

Spacecraft-inspired Electric Scooter Render

Dubbed the Stellar Landcraft, the concept takes shape from the Quest Atom Alpha electric bike, which is aimed at local commuting. As a result, Fajar’s Landcraft features a similar outlook as the Atom Alpha featuring a storage section download and a single-piece frame extending from head to toe.

This is where the similarities end, though, and the designer has reimagined the entire bike, taking inspiration from spacecrafts. The most notable aspect is the new body kit for the chassis boasting bent aluminum parts wrapped in a white and gray livery, similar to what you see on spacecrafts. Topping this is funky round lights in the front and back and chunky wheels.

Design aside, there are more functional updates in place, too. For instance, the Stellar Landcraft gets two springs and a taller handlebar up front, along with Ohlins shock absorbers outback. However, the crown jewel is the integrated solar panel between the handlebar and the seat, which gives the e-bike infinite range (theoretically).

Not only is this a very clever touch, but it also makes sense, considering the Quest Atom Alpha only offers 15-miles of range in its stock avatar. Meanwhile, the artist has kept things relatively simple in terms of features. You only get a bright LCD instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity, and single disc brakes at both ends.

Apart from all this, Fajar’s portfolio also imagines the Stellar Landcraft as a capable food delivery vehicle (with a small compartment below) and even a fun way of exploring camping sites on a group trip.

To wrap up, the Stellar Landcraft comes out as a brilliant electric bike, perfect for the routine commute as well as occasional fun. Now, all we have to do is wait for someone to bring this to life and somehow export it to America. Like what you see? Well, then you should also check out this World War II aircraft-inspired electric bike.
