With what started out as a custom weekend project for Hollywood’s Keanu Reeves, Arch Motorcycles has come a long way ever since it set up shop back in 2007. Joined by a self-taught engineer Gard Hollinger, the company started making production models soon and has to date made three models.

The bikes are yet to reach stardom and people have already started imagining them in a different genre. An Italian artist who goes by the name Oberdan Bezzi, also famously called as OBIBOI has sketched an impressive looking concept which might be expected from the Arch stable in the future.

Arch Motorcycles, for the first time, displayed their bikes in the EICMA last year since they will be selling their models in the European markets after it went to bed with the Swiss 2-stroke specialists, Suter Racing, to import motorcycles to each side of the Atlantic.

Taking advantage of this partnership, OBIBOI thinks that Arch will one day make a proper sportsbike using the two-stroke V4 motor that runs on Suter’s MMX 500. Called the Arch KR SB-1 Concept, it is a superbike that will boast of a powerful V4 engine underneath its hood and surrounded by a carbon fiber mono-cell chassis.

The idea is also borrowed from the Arch Method 143 concept unveiled at the EICMA. The unique layering design concept and elegant craftsmanship of the bodywork include fine leather, carbon fiber and artfully programmed CNC machined aluminum that will also make way into the KB SB-1.

The full fairings do a decent task in streamlining the air but the job here is to make the KB SB-1 look cool. And it does exactly that. The front gets a huge wind deflector keeping the hard-hitting wind at bay away from the rider. As you can see, the rider gets an aggressive position with adjustable high footpegs and a low handlebar setup.

To conform it to WSBK standards, we see the top of the line intelligent suspension system featuring a semi-active unit up front and Ohlins fully adjustable electronic shock setup complimenting the beefy rear swingarm. Monoblock Brembo calipers clutch onto steel discs to provide enough stopping power to this beast. Michelin slick tires wrap around the 6-spoke lightweight alloys.
