“Once again, the Earth is under attack. An alien species is poised for a final assault. The survival of humanity depends on a military genius who can defeat the aliens. But who? Or what?”

That ‘what’ is a curious looking piece of weapon made in Vietnam. Easily mistakable to some sci-fi Terminator blockbuster prop, this bullet looking steel is a brainchild of Daryl Villanueva, the military genius born to defeat the extraterrestrial.

And its called the "Bandit 9 Eve Classic".

Anyone who has been in Vietnam, or almost any other place in Southeast Asia, will immediately understand the importance of the motorcycle to residents. Motorcycles in East Asia are not designed for weekend diversion or to flaunt around, they are essential tools used by whole families for all transportation needs.

There is not much difference in perception of use amongst the residents, but a little has led to a relatively small number of custom bike garages that rolls through those regions, and the most blood rushed boutique of them is the Bandit 9.

Taking the red pill, Daryl started Bandit 9 and took stuff out of the motorcycle graveyard and started building one product after the other. Out of all his creations, my favorite concoction is the Eve Classic.

Using all his experience and skill sets, he turned a 1967 Honda Super Sports 125cc motorcycle into a 22nd-century motorcycle that looks unlike anything that could come out even from the future. He just wanted to make a motorcycle that did not fit any genre deliberately.

The Eve is a work of art that is housed in a rather blasphemed L frame, which he also makes use of on all his recent creations. The clean and pure image is due to its extremely shiny 904L steel unibody tank.‘Body’ is a very naïve term here.

You sit on custom Italian-calf leather seats which are contoured into the very-oblong unibody bar. How comfortable is it? Is a rhetorical question really, and it ends with a clean looking pointed rear cowl that gives the bike it's tag "Silver Bullet".

It also has a custom brake light the comes with a quartz glass cover, custom exhaust unit, custom rear sets and controls, plus an electric starter. Eyes popping out already. The W-handlebar and the round headlamp are also buffed to a high finish and gives out a classic look.

It looks like Daryl is also a fan of spoked wheels just like us. Thin profile tires thread on the aluminum spoked wheels, and to complete the package, and Eve makes use of inverted forks and spring units. Twin-piston calipers clutching on steel discs at the front and a traditional drum brake at the rear complete the mechanics on this retro-futuristic being.

Only nine units of this eye-popper will be made and if I am not wrong, are all be sold by the time you read this line. Each of the Eves' is priced at $10,950 and will be delivered to your doorstep including customs clearance and insurance against damage in transit.

Bandit 9 already has its machines rolling in the streets in the US, France, Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, China, and Vietnam. It has also adorned floor spaces in museums across the globe.

There is also a golden steel version of the same model called the 'Eve Alchemist' that costs $11,950 and a Cafe-Racer version with a bikini fairing called the 'Eve MB&F' for $13,500.

There is literally nothing else on this to discuss other than just zoning out to think about the amount of brain size one would need to concoct this beautiful shiny machine, which is so shiny that the aliens cannot themselves stand the glare, and hence, the Eve Classic will win the war for us.

Hoorayyy!!
