There have been many brilliant motorcycle adverts over the years, but there have also been some howlers and this one for Pulsar Motorcycles in India has to be in line for the worst of all time. Not content with a terrible story line, it then overlays the sound of v-twins and in-line-fours onto what is clearly a weedy single-cylinder.

Is This The Worst Motorcycle TV Ad Ever?

I almost don't know where to start with this one. It could be the Hollywood-style implausible storyline or the gratuitous violence. It could be the laughable stunts or the impossibly chiselled hero. But, really, it has to be the way different engine sounds have been laid over the real sound that takes the biscuit.

And, it's not only one engine sound: it's different ones! We're all used to Hollywood miraculously changing a bike from a street bike to an off-road bike when a jump needs to be slotted in to the action and they're certainly not innocent of laying the sound of one bike over another completely different bike, but two or three in one 60 second advert?

That's special. It might be from 2014, but nothing has come close to this since for sheer awfulness.
