Italy is a country best characterized by a long history of exclusivity and adrenaline and it seems that sometimes pieces that contribute to that are the source of great controversy.

Police (Carabinieri, as they are called) in the Provincial Command of Bergamo have discovered that Brembo Marchesini Diablo competition wheels from the handling department were stolen and afterwards marketed on the internet. The deal was made by two individuals who used a blog in order to post the stolen goods for sale.

The attention was drawn by reports of departments responsible for the design of the company which had found continuous shortages of rims waiting to be tested and then be used at competitions around the world.

Police stopped the illicit selling that could prove very dangerous for unsuspecting fans and buyers since the rims were stolen before they were even tested. Uninspired thief! What if it would have received complains? :))
