Confederate has changed its name to Combat but the bikes remain as mad as ever, the range topped out by the $120,000 Bomber

Confederate Changes Name But Loses None Of The Madness

Confederate built its reputation on extreme v-twin-powered motorcycles and, with a change of name to Combat, that reputation certainly isn't going to suffer if the latest top-of-the-range machine is anything to go by.

Called the Bomber, it is based on the original Confederate FA-13 Bomber model and comes with a wallet-draining $120,000 price tag.

The new Bomber builds on the FA-13 and, according to Combat, “completes the package with a new, laid-back seat angle coupled with forward controls to make this bike the cruiser to lead all cruisers."

The huge monocoque chassis is machined from aluminium billet and can be ordered in anodised black or raw aluminium finish. The engine, as usual, is a humongous S&S v-twin.

Combat’s 2022 range includes the long-popular Wraith, F117 Fighter and P51 Fighter. The $100,000 F-117 Fighter is the brand’s ‘entry-level’ bike and “Strikes the balance between raw beauty and aggression,” according to Combat.

'Aggression' is about the right word: all Combats look as if they will transform into something else and kick your head in! Whether you like the looks is up to you but for sure you'll turn heads!
