Custom bike unveiled in zoo’s Hog Wild fundraiser


A custom-made motorcycle that will be raffled off to raise money for the Rosamond Gifford Zoo will be unveiled today at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, 246 W. Willow St., Syracuse.

The raffle drawing is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 16.

The “Go Hog Wild for the Zoo” fundraiser is sponsored by the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, T.J. Sheehan, County Line Choppers and Jack Daniels. Last year’s raffle raised more than $70,000 for the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse.

The motorcycle was custom-made by Pat Briggs of County Line Choppers and is valued at $50,000.

Raffle tickets are $10. Entrants must be at least 18 years old. Tickets can be bought at the zoo, Dinosaur, Empower Federal Credit Unit and Advance Auto Parts.
