Honda’s miniMoto lineup has an immense fan following, thanks to their epic price-to-fun ratio. However, things can always get more fun and that’s exactly what popular accessory maker Yoshimura intended to do. As a result, here’s a spruced-up Honda Monkey loaded with accessories to take the fun quotient to new heights.

Custom Honda Monkey 125 By Yoshimura

Showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show, the first thing to note about the custom Monkey is its ravishing aesthetics. Yoshimura has wrapped the bite-sized bike in a deep red and satin grey livery, bringing it in line with the company’s palette.

Starting up top, the bike flaunts a short, color-matched wind deflector topped by red-anodized USD forks and a black, high-set mudguard. Following this is a two-tone fuel tank replete with Yoshimura graphics and proud “Small Bore Life” stickers. Likewise, the clutch cover reads “I’ve Got The Power” to up the funky vibe.

Next, we come to the more functional upgrades. Yoshimura has kitted the Monkey with adjustable, gas-charged Ohlins shock absorbers outback to improve the riding dynamics plus give the package some bling. You also get machined footpegs built by Yoshimura itself.

And for the ultimate act, the exhaust-maker did what it does best, equipping the Monkey with a bespoke full-system exhaust, complete with an engraved Yoshimura logo and an all-black finish. There’s no info on how much power it adds, but the final output should be a bit more than the stock bike’s 9.2 horsepower.

Apart from this, there are no changes to the bike’s features and it continues to pack all-LED lights, a digital instrument cluster, single disc brakes at both ends, and ABS. The alloy wheels and tires also remain as it is, just with red pinstripes to complement the livery.

Can You Buy It?

Sadly, Yoshimura hasn’t commented on this. But we do know most of these parts are available in the company’s accessory catalog for the Monkey 125, so do dig through it if you want any of these accessories. In the meantime, let us know what you think of the Yoshimura Monkey!
