Keeping the news section in the Knievel register, we are happy to announce that Christian Audigier made today public its intention of launching a new clothing line that is closely inspired by the costumes worn by Evel Knievel through its long and famous daredevil career.

And which better place to launch the new clothing line than at the Caesar’s Palace Hotel, in Las Vegas? The event will be part of the “When I Move You Move” show on August 25, 2008 at 3:00 p.m.

Composed from T-shirts and hoodies, the line is a wearable remember of the number 1 motorcycle on which Evel Knievel wrote history and broke a few bones from time to time. Oh, the diagrams of the broken bones also feature in the line.

Christian Audigier: "I admire Evel Knievel because he was the original. He invented extreme sports. I grew up in France watching the excitement and suspense of his jumps. He defied skeptics, ignored fear, and pushed the limits,"
The designer added: "He had several accidents throughout his career, but he persisted and we watched and cheered for him every step of the way."

"Caesar's Palace is the ideal place to launch this brand since it was the site of his legendary jump over the fountains in 1967," Audigier mentions. "He was the quintessential showman, unwavering in his attitude and determination."
