Post 30 years of a bodacious run, the Bar & Shield brand celebrated the iconic Fat Boy it with a limited run affair of a bold all-black livery, complete with gentle touches of bronze – The Fat Boy 30th Anniversary. Tuscany Motor Company, the Indiana based dealership that gives us enthusiasts Harley-Davidson special limited-edition trucks, has now the sent the Ford F-250 to the beauty shop to get a butch makeover based on the limited-ed Fat Boy.

Under the direction of the Milwaukee firm, notable and iconic features of the cruiser will get onto the 2020 model F-250 truck with over 65 proprietary components to dazzle the vibe and the character of the already striking pick-up. Just like what this partnership did with the Harley-Davidson GMC Sierra Truck

Celebrating 30 years of this monster, the 2018 Fat Boy model was given a blacked-out theme, converting the satin-chrome outlook to a sinful looking “Vivid-Black” theme. This Darth Vader-esque appeal is brought onto Ford’s heavy hauler to fulfill “customer requests for additional towing capacity and celebrates their passion for Harley-Davidson® motorcycles,” said Jeff Burttschell, Vice President, Tuscany Motor Co.

Starting the show with those 22" "Fatboy" milled wheels, the truck maintains the bottom-heavy look just like the satin-black 18-inch solid-disc Lakester rims that fancy on the Fat Boy. Demanding further attention, these wheels get accentuated with the vivid, orange logo on the hubs and “HARLEY-DAVIDSON MOTOR COMPANY” milled into the face of the wheel carrying all-terrain tires.

The front carries the aggressive Ford grille with a custom patterned mesh bordered with the same orange and the Harley-Davidson name embezzled at the bottom. A black skid plate flaunts a row of driving LEDs. The hood features sporty new injection-molded vents for induction airflow. On the sides, we have active air vents that also carry the orange Bar & Shield logo.

Speaking of which, the largest logo is boldly pressed on the color-matched tonneau cover. The rear also sees the dark finish cladded tailgate with integrated Harley-Davidson badging. A custom-tuned exhaust setup features the end cans with exclusive solid aluminum black tips and orange accents. For an undercover look, the windows are tinted to 50-state spec, and the stealth look takes on a serious note where all the satin chrome throughout the original design gets a dark treatment, and I’m digging it.

Every single HD F-250 gets an exclusive number, and to remind you of such exclusivity, the etched plate is placed onto the center console in a stylish design, as well as on the redesigned console. The interior flairs a dash of orange with the diamond stitch pattern on the leather seat and embroidered with "Harley-Davidson” badging. The badging is also reflected on the carpet floor mats, door sill inserts, billet pedals, and on the stainless steel gauges with back-lighting.

This is not just a cosmetic exercise. The V-8-powered 2020 Harley-Davidson Ford F-250 Truck does justice to both form and function. The BDS suspension gets re-designed with tuned “fox” performance shocks and lateral stability bars. The truck also receives a performance-tuned header-exhaust unit for a distinctive barky tone. Exclusive power running boards with a rock guard trim and entry lights make a scene too.

The model will be offered in a choice of two liveries – White and Black. Tuscany has priced the Ford F-250 Harley-Davidson at $111,185. This makes it the most expensive truck to roll out of Tuscany’s workshops, and can be reserved at select Ford retailers and online.

Subtle is definitely not the name here.
