Harley-Davidson took an important step toward its goal of increasing its customer base in Africa and the Middle East with the opening of a new subsidiary office in Cape Town, South Africa this past February.

"Our dealers in the Middle East and Africa have become the benchmark for the region’s motorcycle industry," Stuart Farrell, Managing Director, Middle East and Africa says. "Their commitment, coupled with the exciting Harley-Davidson brand, has appealed to customers who embrace individualism, adventure and camaraderie." Between the strength of its emerging dealer network and the enthusiasm of the region’s customers, it’s not hard to see why Harley-Davidson has chosen to commit even more resources to this part of the world.

"People here have already embraced the brand and lifestyle," Stuart adds. "Now what we’re working on is helping our dealer network to grow and expand so these customers can find our products and get out on the road."
