It is a great occasion for every rider to visit the place where the world’s best cruisers are manufactured as Labor Day weekend will open for free visiting of the assembly line and viewing 2008 models during the third Thunder in the Rockies motorcycle rally which will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 1-2.

The event, sponsored by Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson and The Ranch, will cost $10 per day or $15 for the weekend and it will again be set at The Ranch in Loveland on Aug. 31- Sept. 3.

If you are willing to go, you should know that for the money you will have the opportunity to visit the Harley-Davidson traveling museum and many shows like Ball of Steel Stunts Show or the Thunder Mountain Bike Show and if you are not willing to go you should know that you will be missing the Rocky Mountain bike build-off, biker games, rodeo and many contests including strong man competitions, tattoo contests and oyster eating.

Attendees can also join poker or scenic rides guided by one of the local H.O.G. chapters; test drive Harley-Davidson, Yamaha and Boss Hoss demo bikes; and visit the H.O.G. Pin Shop.

Every single activity will be accompanied by live outdoor concerts offered by Freebird, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band; the Groove Hawgs, featuring Lewis and Floorwax; and many other local acts which will remind you of the awesome days each time you will listen to them.
