The Japanese Red Winger is setting up stage for to bring in a whole new flavour into motorcycling.

If there was ever any inkling about Honda not making the best looking motorcycles, here is your opportunity for redemption.

Showcased at the ongoing Tokyo International Motor Show, Honda officially unwrapped their brand new concept of the Project NSC (Neo Sport Cafe) which has caught every motorcycle aphrodisiac’s attention ever since it was teased earlier this month in two separate videos.

Ever since the beginning of the decade, Honda has been working on products that have been pushing boundaries and creating benchmarks, forcing the other to go running back to their drawing boards.

Take in any segment, for example, the CBR 1000RR Fireblade sportsbike, the CRF 1000L Africa Twin adventure tourer, the CB1100 EX retro-classic or the recently launched 2018 Gold Wing continent-shriker. All of these machines have been responsible for taking the game up a few notches, and Honda seems to have no intentions of slowing down anytime soon.

Coming to stop everyone in their tracks, the Neo Sports Cafe concept displayed at the Tokyo Motor Show is giving us a glimpse of how Honda is ready to take on the Cafe Racer segment with this lustful motorcycle.

If you have seen the two videos released by Honda, you will not fault in noticing that this concept bike shown is just a..err..concept. . Expect the production version to carry more ’street stuff’ like the mirrors, indicators, license plate holder, headlight, and clocks.

To be developed under the name “Project N.S.C”, the Neo Sports Cafe will, however, invoke the spirits of the CB750 and the CB1100 range of motorcycles that pays homage to Honda’s long line of capable, reliable and fun street bikes. Honda sure wouldn’t look to the past without looking forward.

Expect to see a production version at EICMA next month powered by a 998cc inline-four or the same 649cc inline four found in the CB650F. Which one would you want to see under the belly of this machine?
