In the final races of the Supermoto World Championship 2007 in Megara/Greece, Adrien Chareyre in the S1 Class (no capacity limit) finished 5th, which gained 330 points in the overall season ratings w and won the World Championship title in this class. In second place was Thierry Van Den Bosch on Aprilia, and Adrien’s brother Tomas finished third, also on Husqvarna.

With this outstanding performance of the two brothers, Husqvarna Motorcycles also won the 2007 World Championship in the constructor’s ratings ahead of Aprilia and Honda.

In the S2 Class (up to 450 cc) Husqvarna motorcyclist Gerald Delepine won the rider’s ratings for the second time after 2005, thus winning the world championship title ahead of KTM rider Attilio Pignotti.

Since the very beginning of supermoto sport, Husqvarna has been intensively involved in this segment and has promoted young racing talents from the outset. This year’s outstanding success is the result of this and is in no small part due to the hard and dedicated work of the CH Racing Team.
