Husqvarna is really stringing the launch of the Norden 901 adventure bike out. We've met everyone at the factory and for the last two videos, we've been messing about in Iceland. Can we just see the bike close up now, please? You know, a bit of detail and specification? That would be nice.

Launch it Already!

We've met the engineers, the designers, the marketers and an extreme explorer who has been riding the bike around Iceland. We've met the cleaners, the kitchen staff and the car park security (OK, maybe I'm exaggerating a little, there!) and still we have to see the bike in full, close up detail.

Husqvarna really is stretching out the teasing for the new Norden 901 adventure bike and now it does feel as if they are struggling a bit to come up with further ideas to keep us hanging on.

The next instalment sees us re-visiting Iceland with explorer Mike Horn, except he now has multiple Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres in tow as they have a Boy's Own adventure up hill, down dale, towards volcanoes, across black-sanded beaches and across ravines on the new Norden 901, all in some really foul weather.

True, in these videos we are getting to see more of the bikes, but it's a far cry from really detailed close-ups and firm specifications. They are all very inspirational and full of noble sentiments about pushing yourself to the limits (are we supposed to think that the engineers at Husqvarna have similarly pushed the design of the Norden to the limits?) but, surely thats' enough already?

Can we not just get the bike launched and ride it, please? Then we can make our own videos.....just maybe not in Iceland!
