With over 100 Million built, it was inevitable that Honda's immortal Super Cub would find its fair share of supporters, but did anyone ever think it was going to be a custom-builders dream?

K-Speed's 'Cargo Cub' Is The Perfect Delivery Bike

it doesn't matter if you're a motorcycle fan or not, there is simply no way you can not know about the Honda Super Cub. With over 100 million built, it's still in production today and, even though it's been updated, it is still as recognisable as ever.

What is more surprising is that the humble little Super Cub has found its way into the hearts of custom builders around the world, some of which are turning out really cool modified Cubs and creating a whole new custom bike language.

One such workshop is K-Speed in Thailand and the latest of over 70 Cub customs is this very sweet number based on a brand new Super Cub, as detailed at www.bikeexif.com

The modifications are subtle but add up to something that is a Honda Cub but, at the same time, isn't quite a Honda Cub, if you see what I mean.

The most important modification is to the wheels and the stance of the bike. The wheels are still 17-inch but have wider rims and much fatter tyres that suit the bike perfectly. As usual with all such builds, the beauty is in the detail and there are a lot of details on this.

The handlebars are now exposed and feature beautiful white grips and micro switches keeping everything clean and neat. The bodywork - always such a distinctive feature of the Honda Cub - has again been subtly modified to be recognisably Cub but so much cooler.

This is now my new favourite custom bike.....until the next Super Cub comes along, that is!
