Kawasaki USA will reveal six new or upgraded models on October 5th, with a further three to be revealed at the end of November. We already know about the Z650RS modern classic, but what else could we see?

Kawasaki's Monster New Model Reveal

In the lead up to the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan at the end of November, nearly all manufacturers are either teasing or fully revealing new models in order to ramp up anticipation for the 2022 model year.

Kawasaki USA is planning to reveal an unprecedented six new or upgraded models on October 5th, with three more to be revealed in late November.

We've already seen the new Z650RS but what could the other new models be?

Well, it's all speculation at the moment, but putting our thinking caps on, we've come up with the following list of models we think will be in the line-up, based in part on the image of the shrouded models.

Firstly, the glimpse of a gold-rimmed spoked wheel is the Z650RS which has been launched elsewhere in the world but not officially in the US as yet. Could we also see a special edition of the Z900RS SE, perhaps with a new colour scheme?

Then there's a knobbly tyre peeking out, which is likely to be a revised MX bike or perhaps a new version of the evergreen KLR650.

Another spoked front wheel could mean Kawasaki isn't abandoning the parallel-twin-engined W800 altogether and is planning to go head to head with Triumph and its Bonneville.

A new ZX6R has been rumoured for a while now so that will surely be one of the announcements. The only question is: will it remain a 600 or will it go head-to-head with the recently announced Yamaha R7 and become the ZX7R?

Finally, could the H2 be getting upgrades, either to the original model or the H2 SX sports tourer? As I said, it's all conjecture but these are the most likely changes to the Kawasaki line-up.

The other shape is definitely not a motorcycle but looks suspiciously like a new jet ski. I suppose you could call it a motorcycle for water so it is relevant in this announcement but, not knowing anything about jet skis, I have no idea what changes there might be.

Luckily, you won't have long to wait and you can read all about all the new models right here on www.topspeed.com in the next couple of days.
