Austrian powerhouse KTM->ke1954 has issued a recall on 487 of its 2016-17 Super Duke GT units in North America for a potential fire danger. What To Do

Owners of the affected vehicles can expect to receive a letter from KTM, and dealers are standing by to remove and replace the defective part with a known-good one. Concerned parties should contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090 or the NHTSA (safercar.gov) at 1-888-327-4236 and reference recall No.17V194000. Needless to say, if you even think you may have an affected unit, don't ride the darned thing until you know for sure -- you may be sitting on a pre-heated molotov cocktail.
