In warm and dusty conditions Kurt Caselli charged hard to a 3rd place round finish. In the second corner Caselli went wide and dropped to near last place but pushed hard throughout the first lap and came around in 5th. He rode most of the race in 3rd place chasing the leaders and held the position to the finish.
