When looking for collector bikes, there’s nothing quite like a spanking clean limited-edition Ducati and if you’re looking for one, Bring A Trailer has you covered.

The company has posted an ultra-rare and astonishingly beautiful 2002 Ducati 998 S Ben Bostrom replica, only 155 of which ever made it to the US market, this being the #102 bike.

Ducati 998S Ben Bostrom Replica

As the name suggests, the Ducati 998S Ben Bostrom replica was introduced to celebrate the successful career of legendary American racer Benjamin Bostrom, who won his wildcard WSBK race at the Laguna Seca in 2000.

This win landed him a full-time Ducati factory contract in the 2001 WSBK championship. Aboard the factory-spec 998S, Bostrom won five races in a row in 2002 against big names like Troy Bayliss and Colin Edwards. Ultimately, the rider’s success in WSBK made Ducati quite happy, so much so that the company introduced the 998S Ben Bostrom edition.

The bike comes laden with carbon fiber bodywork wrapped in a special livery that features red, white, and blue colors, topped off by striking flames and stars. While this looks dope as it is, Ducati even wrapped the Marchesini wheels, the handgrips, and the trellis frame in a deep blue color, creating a striking livery. For the final touches, each bike came with Ben Bostrom's signature on the 4.5-gallon fuel tank and a blue seat.

Livery aside, the bike comes laden with loads of top-shelf components – an Ohlins steering damper, adjustable front and rear Ohlins suspension, carbon fiber exhaust shield, and Brembo discs to name a few. The cockpit, however, is fairly basic and gets three circular pods showing speed, temperature, and rpm.

Coming to the engine, the 998S draws power from a liquid-cooled 998cc Testastretta L-twin engine. At the time, its output was rated at 136 horsepower and 74 pound-feet. This particular bike, though, features carbon fiber Termignoni exhausts instead of the stock exhausts, so it should be a lil' juicier.

With the odometer stuck at around 1,500 miles, it’s safe to say the bike is quite mint and rarely used.

Overall, the Ducati 998S Ben Bostrom replica on sale here looks super clean and all set to spice up your garage. Plus, with all these impressive bits, you can even take this to a racetrack and put up some impressive lap times while grabbing a whole lot of eyeballs.
