Dates have been announced for the fifth Tennessee Motorcycle and Music Revival at Loretta Lynn's Ranch, an hour outside of Nashville.

2022 Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival

The easing of Covid restrictions is such good news for many reasons - travel, seeing loved ones, heading back to the office (if that's your thing!) - but the best must be the resumption of normal service for many motorcycling and music events.

One of the best of those is the Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival, a bucolic celebration of bikes and music, with its emphasis on local Nashville sounds and custom motorcycles.

The fifth edition of the event will see a return to the fabulous Loretta Lynn's Ranch, situated about an hour west of Nashville, in Hurricane Mills on Tennessee Highway 13. The dates to pencil in are May 19-22, 2022.

Bill Dodge's BC Moto Invitational is a big draw and, this year, nearly 40 custom builders have been invited to display their creations.

The TMMR is not just about static bikes and music, however. If you want to watch others riding their bikes, there’s a freestyle moto trials show, along with a return of The Ives Brothers in the motordrome Wall of Death. There are also the Hillbilly Hooligan Races.

If you want to ride yourself, then attendees will be able to compete in the First City Track Games, featuring field games and trail riders can get an Enduro Off-Road Trail Pass for $30. Harley Davidson will be offering demo rides, which would be a great way of exploring the surrounding countryside.

The music line-up hasn't been announced yet but, if previous years are anything to go by, you won't be disappointed. With Nashville being so close, the musical theme will definitely be country-tinged, which will suit the rural setting of the ranch perfectly. Headline bands will play on the Roadhouse Stage at Honky Tonk Central, with local Nashville-based sounds wafting from The Speed Shack race track bar and The Waterin’ Hole at Hurricane Creek.

There is a ton of room for everyone, whether camping, glamping, taking a cabin or bringing your RV. While you're there, why not take a tour of Loretta’s Historic Home and the Coal Miner’s Daughter Museum?

Single-day passes for the 2022 Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival start at $35, with 4-Day VIP Ultra passes going for $369. Those interested in glamping can get four-night packages for $889 (queen or twin beds in a fully furnished tent). To demonstrate the popularity of the event, RV parking is already booked up and you will have to add your name to a waiting list if that is your preferred accommodation option.

As an antidote to what has been - and still is - going on in the world, we can think of nothing better than a weekend in the country, looking at cool custom motorcycles and eating and drinking while listening to great music.
