Motorcyclists guilty of noise pollution?
The Columbus Dispatch is considering that bikers are polluting the air of Hocking County with the barely muffled noise of their motorcycle engines. Acording to Ohio’s law a maximum of 86 dba (decibels adjusted) at 50 feet for motorcycle exhaust ia allowed, but many bikes are at least as loud as a fully loaded dump truck.
Generally the motorcyclists, doesn’t matter the age are removing the baffles from their mufflers because they think it makes them look and sound cool and the rest of us don’t care to listen to their obnoxious noise.
