Take a look at this one-of-a-kind plane that can carry two Segway electric bikes on its wings!
Made by engineer Mike Patey, the plane is dubbed 'Scrappy' and it aims to make exploration of new places much easier
Patey has equipped the wings with specially designed mounts which hold the e-bikes and help reduce drag while flying with them
The interesting bit, however, is that you can also charge your e-bikes on the fly, literally
This is made possible via solar panels on the wings and engine rotor which help store charge in the wing-mounted power banks
So all you need to do is mount the bikes, fly to a new place, and once you're there you've got two fully charged up e-bikes to play with
And the Segway Dirt X260 with its impressive performance numbers is the perfect partner in crime. Swipe up to know more about it.
