The history repeat itself after 33 years: the MV Agusta gets back to the Italian podium. The author of the wonderful performance is Luca Scassa, protagonist since the very beginning of this racing season, who showed his incredible skills and the great value of his MV.

On Sunday, the 23 years old rider got immediately the leadership of the race at the third lap creating a huge distance from his MV and Corti. Only at the final lap Corti got closer to Scassa who did’’t want to run any risk an preferred to avoid the battle.

With a second place conquered in Imola, Scassa took the Varese Factory on the highest step of the Italian podium, a mission that Giacomo Agostini accomplished back in 1973 when he got the Italian Title in the 500 class.
