In a world premier like no other before it, the newest additions to BMW's R 18 stable – the R 18 B and R 18 Transcontinental -- star in a music video by The Cadillac Three for their new song “Get After It” on Big Machine Records.

A World Debut Like No Other

The video production took place in June outside The Cadillac Three's hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. The link between BMW and the band comes in from Marshall Amplifiers. Having had a strong relationship with Marshall, the band was recommended to BMW for its debut launch of the R 18 B and Transcontinental.

The new R 18 models feature sound systems as standard equipment that were developed in collaboration with Marshall. Two-way speakers are integrated into the front of the fairing, and black speaker grilles with white Marshall lettering add a classic look. Available as optional ex works, Marshall Gold Series Stage 1 and Stage 2 sound systems provide enhanced listening pleasure with up to 4 loudspeakers and 2 subwoofers with 280 watts of total output.

This was such an awesome experience!,” says singer-guitarist Jaren Johnston. “While recording the track we tried to incorporate the feeling of getting on that BMW Motorrad bike for the first time while playing a really loud guitar through huge Marshall stacks like we do out on the road. I think we nailed it.} like we do out on the road. I think we nailed it.}”

We’ve had a great relationship with Marshall Amplifiers for a long time,” adds drummer Neil Mason. “and when we found out they’d recommended us to BMW to help launch their new motorcycle with a music video for “Get After It,” it felt like a big ol' hell yes for us.} for “Get After It,” it felt like a big ol' hell yes for us.}”
