It's the ultimate shoot-out; which is faster in a drag race - the fastest production motorcycle in the world or a Formula One car. But wait, let's spice things up a bit. Let's add in an F16 Jet Fighter, a Challenger 605 Private Jet, an Aston Martin Vantage, a Lotus Evora GT430 and a Tesla Model S P100DL. Now, we'll admit that is some pretty stiff competition, so how does the bike fare against the planes and the cars?

The Ultimate Drag Race Shootout

The Kawasaki H2R is acknowledged to be a very, very fast motorcycle. In 2016, Kawasaki World Supersport rider Kenan Sofuoglu rode one to a record of 400km/h (249 mph) across the then newly-completed Osman Gazi Bridge in Turkey, the fourth-longest bridge in the world.

Not being ones to let things lie, at the Teknofest Istanbul Aerospace and Technology Festival, the Turks once again set the Kawasaki Ninja H2R the task of going head-to-head with some of the fastest vehicles on the planet.

Not content with simply four-wheeled rivals, the H2R was pitted against two-winged rivals, in the form of the F16 fighter jet and a civilian private jet, the Challenger 605. For added spice, an Aston Martin Vantage, a Lotus Evora GT430 and a Tesla Model S P100DL were added into the mix.

Ha! The Kawasaki creamed the whole lot of them, while costing a fraction of any of their prices! Who says two wheels are bad?
