Royal Enfield might have taken down the Bullet and Classic 500 from its portfolio, but the old-school bikes still remain a popular choice with custom shops throughout the world.

On that note, we bring to you a dapper custom Royal Enfield Classic 500 hailing from Jakarta-based, FrontWheel Motors. Let’s dive into its details.

Custom Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Bobber By FrontWheel Motors

One look at the Raijin (as called by its makers) and the bike looks nothing like a Classic 500. Starting up front, the bike has a vastly different fascia mainly due to the revised steering geometry and widened forks which accommodate the extra-chunky 16-inch tire that replaces the 19-inch stock unit. This is topped by a custom headlight, aftermarket fork gaiters, and a swooshing single-piece handlebar that has neat little LED indicators right below it.

Next, FrontWheels has swapped out the stock teardrop-shaped fuel tank with an indented one, a trait common amongst proper bobber bikes. Speaking of bobbers, the main “bobber” appeal is courtesy of the rear-end featuring a small custom seat and a longer swingarm. Meanwhile, you also get a dashing ducktail fender coupled with dual gas-charged shocks, neatly hugging the 16-inch spoke wheel.

FrontWheels has also thrown in custom handgrips, a custom instrument cluster (still analog, though), a see-through front brake reservoir, and even custom handlebar switches which instead of pressing, can be simply flicked.

Apart from all this, the only relatively stock part remains the 499cc thumper. With barely any changes to it except for a custom free-flow end can, the engine is expected to churn out 27 horsepower and 30 pound-feet, the same as on the stock bike.

Finally, for the finishing touches, FrontWheels has painted the body panels in shiny silver paint and topped it off with blacked-out mechanicals to keep things subtle yet sexy.

Can You Buy It?

Sadly, no. According to the makers, this project was prepared for a customer who brought in a Classic 500 with an open mind and gave FrontWheels a free hand to go crazy with it.

However, if you want something as dope as this, you can certainly buy a used Classic 500 and then get it customized as well, as it is an incredibly versatile bike to work on.
