The factory stands ready to set things right, and the upcoming recall campaign will see the affected bolts and nuts replaced and torqued to the proper poundage. Although the factory has yet to announce a notification schedule, concerned owners may contact Polaris at 1-855-863-2284 and reference recall number T-17-01, or go straight to the NHTSA hotline at 1-888-327-4236 for recall number 17V158000. The factory says that there are only 254 units that could have been affected, so this is a mistake that was caught very quickly. Needless to say, if you think you are the owner of an affected model, don’t driveit until you know for sure and get the thing fixed.
