Triumph Motorcycles and Gibson Guitars have teamed up to offer a one-off custom Bonneville and Les Paul guitar to the rider who raises most money for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride.

Distinguished Gentleman's Ride Offers Amazing Prize

The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride has established itself as one of the must-attend events in the motorcycling calendar. Not only is it a great excuse to dress up in your finest clothes and ride your motorcycle with a bunch of like-minded enthusiasts, but you are also contributing to a very good cause in the process. Over the years, something like $30million has been raised to combat prostate cancer and raise awareness of mental health issues that many men have to face.

For many years, Triumph has been enthusiastic partners of the DGR and. this year's event will see the involvement ramp up another notch or two. Every year, the person who raises the most money for the DGR charity wins a prize: in recent years, that prize has been a brand new Triumph.

This year, Triumph has partnered with Gibson guitars, another iconic brand that has stood the test of time, just like Triumph. The result is a one-off custom Bonneville with a host of original detailing.

The Triumph Bonneville T120 1959 Legends Custom Edition pays tribute to both the Bonneville T120 and the Gibson Les Paul Standard guitar, both of which were released in, you guessed it, 1959.

The most striking feature is the paint job on the gas tank, with the central hand-painted and coach-lined stripe being in the shape of a guitar neck topped with the famous Gibson Les Paul headstock. It's a neat touch. The tan leather seat even has some guitar pick holders incorporated into it.

There are also metallic gold 'Triumph Gibson 1959 Legends' badges on the tank, side panels and front mudguard and a certificate of authenticity signed by the CEOs of Triumph and Gibson.

In case that's not quite enough for you, the winner will also receive a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard reissue guitar which wears a few Triumph design details incorporated into the finish.

To be in with a chance to win both these incredible prizes, you need to register to take part in the DGR on their website www.gentlemansride.com. The more money you raise, the better your chance of winning.

On the ride, you'll be joining over 100,000 other riders on classic and retro bikes in 900 cities around the world all united in aid of a good cause.

This year’s ride takes place on Sunday, May 22
