Honda has a loooong lineup of scooters around the world, and even though some are really eye-catchy, none of these cater to “enthusiasts”. But what if Honda made a performance scooter? What would it be like, according to you? Well, we’re certain most of you expect it to take inspiration from Honda’s flagship sportbike, the CBR1000RR-R and that’s also what digital artist, Julak Sendie, penned down. Check out the result below.

Honda CBR1000RR-R Rendered As A Scooter

The rendition you see here blends Honda’s Winner X scooter (sold in Vietnam) with the CBR1000RR-R SP’s design to create this stunning performance scooter. The scooter flaunts radical LED lights with an equally radical air intake stacked in between, all of which are reminiscent of the Fireblade.

Complementing the fascia are brawny body panels all around wrapped in Honda’s iconic HRC livery. If you look closely, the designer has even equipped the CBR-based scooter with a pair of winglets on the sides, which is a pretty cool detail. They aren’t anywhere near as purposeful as the CBR’s aero, but hey, we ain’t complainin’.

The designer didn’t just stop at the aesthetics (after all, imagination is an ocean) and threw in a kitchen sink of top-spec components. We’re talking Ohlins suspension at both ends, OZ magnesium wheels, Brembo Stylema brakes, and sporty Metzeler tires, with a race-spec Akrapovic exhaust topping things off.

At the same time, there are less-fundamental but notable details too, such as lever protectors, Domino hand grips, a tail tidy kit, and even a pillion seat cowl.

Since we are “imagining”, it's only fair to do the same for the engine too, right? So, if Honda ever builds something like this (here’s to hoping), we expect a powerful engine plonked under the skin which would make this a riot to ride. Of course, this is a long shot, but surely not impossible.

To wrap up, a scooter based on the CBR1000RR-R sounds just as fun as it sounds insane. For sure, though, the render depicts it quite accurately (maybe a lil’ over the top) and if the actual product comes even remotely close to this design, it’d make for a killer product. What's your take?
