The V-Strom 650XT is Suzuki’s mid-capacity adventure touring motorcycle popular for its off-road capabilities and likable engine. So when Suzuki’s UK division wanted to celebrate the company’s success in motocross championships, it was hard not to pick the ADV as a starting point. The result, as you can see, is a tricked-out V-Strom 650XT laden with motocross-inspired components to take the bike’s off-road capabilities to new heights.

Suzuki V-Strom 650XT By SR75 World Team Suzuki

Built by SR75 World Team Suzuki, the project began by up-speccing the 19/17-inch spoke wheels with 21/18-inch hoops. Similarly, the road-biased rubber has made way for Pirelli motocross tires.

Next, SR75’s team raised the whole chassis by increasing the front and rear suspension travel, thus upping the ground clearance and the ride height. Speaking of the ride height, the ergonomics now comprise a special ribbed seat, toothed footpegs, and Renthal handlebars complete with risers as well as hand guards.

Then followed the engine mods. There isn’t much that’s happened here, but you do get custom headers and an FMF titanium exhaust system to boost power and give the bike a grumbling note. For reference, the stock V-Strom 650XT puts out 70PS and 62Nm from its 645cc, V-twin mill.

With all this, it was only fair to throw in a bespoke livery, and that’s the final aspect here. The SR75 team dazzled up the aesthetics by redesigning the bodywork and throwing in a bespoke GP Graphix kit to mimic Suzuki’s RM-Z MX racers.

To wrap up, this looks like a pretty solid build that blends the MX flavor from the RM-Zs with the capabilities and versatility of the V-Strom 650XT. Not to mention, it looks super bash-friendly and a lot of fun, regardless of where someone rides it.

Wondering whether you can buy it? Sadly, this is a one-off project and there isn’t much detail on whether Suzuki UK plans to sell it. But most of these parts are bolt-on parts, so in case you dig this, ‌make sure you add these parts to your monthly budget.
