And It Might Just Possibly Be The Most Beautiful Motorcycle Ever

This utterly gorgeous motorcycle might be space-age on the outside and uses weapon’s grade aluminium, but it is powered by a humble Triumph parallel twin engine. When it looks this good, do you care?

The Ultimate Two-Wheeled Weapon?

The custom bike building world is just getting more and more adventurous, with some incredible bikes coming out of the most unlikely places.

For the past ten years, Vietnam-based Bandit9 Motorcycles has been producing some incredible custom machines, none of which are for the light-of-wallet and this latest creation is no different.

Weapons Grade Aluminium
Chassis frame made from 7075 aluminium, as used in missiles, or you can opt for carbon fibre

Built up from 400 bespoke components - all of which are made in-house - the frame is constructed out of 7075 aluminium, which is used in ‘missiles, spacecraft, and other defence applications.’ Crikey! The frame can also be specified in carbon fibre.

Not only are the frame and swing arm works of art, the bodywork could hang in a gallery also. aiding airflow to the engine and adding downforce in corners, it is made from ABS plastic ( the ’Stealth’ version) or, if your pockets are deep enough, carbon fibre (the ’Carbon’ version).

Virtually everything can be up-specc’ed, from the engine and gearbox, to the suspension and brakes, from ABS plastic to carbon fibre

Custom cast aluminium wheels are attached to the bike by Nitron suspension and four-piston Brembo calipers are used. If you like, top-spec Ohlins and six-piston Beringer brakes can be specified. In fact, there is possibly no limit to the levels of up-specc’ing that could be requested.

If you are expecting a similarly exotic power plant, then you might be slightly disappointed to learn that the engine is Triumph’s parallel twin, in either 900cc or 1200cc form. Funnily enough, however, that doesn’t bother us at all. The Triumph lump is neat and compact and in possession of mountains of smooth torque so is possibly the perfect choice.

Utterly Beautiful
Different but with reassuringly familiar mechanicals. You’ll need deep pockets, mind you.

But this machine is all about the looks and, to our eyes, it looks incredible. If you are thinking the bodywork reminds you of something, then it is perfectly all right: inspiration came from the Mobula ray fish - a species of Manta Ray.

No price has been given but it could be that if you have to ask, you can’t afford it!

Now, where’s my lottery ticket?
