Harley Davidson, along with many other motorcycle manufacturers around the world, has ceased trading in Russia in opposition to the invasion of Ukraine. The iconic American brand is going further than that, however.

Harley Davidson's "H-D For Ukraine" T-Shirt

With the outbreak of war in Ukraine, many of the world's biggest brands, including many motorcycle brands, have pulled out of Russia in support. Not only that, but several motorcycle manufacturers have donated money to humanitarian causes in the beleaguered country.

Now, Harley Davidson is going one step further. On top of the $50,000 donated to the United for Ukraine Fund, H-D is now selling a t-shirt, with $26 from each sale going to that same fund via United Way Worldwide. The t-shirts are selling for $35.

A statement on the H-D website states: "Conceived by our community, H-D for Ukraine is a fundraising collaboration between Harley-Davidson and United Way to contribute to the humanitarian relief efforts for Ukraine.

“The ‘H-D for Ukraine’ T-Shirt was designed by the employees of Harley-Davidson and features the colours of the Ukrainian flag across an iconic Harley-Davidson logo. We come together to help when it is needed.”

It might seem like a small gesture, but if enough of us buy a t-shirt, lots of those little gestures will grow into a large gesture that will go to help those affected by the war.
