In the last decade, Lewis Hamilton has been the most dominant driver in Formula 1. This not only earned him truckloads of fans and sponsorships, but even urged MV Agusta to sign a deal with the champion to produce special “LH44” edition motorcycles catering to people who love Lewis Hamilton and exotic bikes.

As a result, MV Agusta unveiled the Dragster 800 RR LH44 limited edition in 2016, with only 244 units going to market. Lucky for you, one such bike is up for grabs at Bring A Trailer and if you’re a die-hard Hamilton fan with some savings to spare, it doesn't get much better than this.

2016 MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR LH44 Edition On Sale At Bring A Trailer

The highlight of this special edition Dragster is its stunning white-red livery. The USD forks, spoke wheels, and the trellis frame don a deep red finish while the bodywork is white to add some contrast. Rounding off the design are numerous 44 graphics, color-matched aluminum side plates, and a carbon-fiber visor that reads #104/244 and has Hamilton’s signature.

Once aboard the bike, you sit on a luxurious quilted Alcantara seat and look at a fully digital LCD instrument cluster. While providing all necessary readouts, the LCD also helps toggle through the electronics package comprising TC, engine maps, and ABS.

Why electronics, you ask? Well, because the Dragster is no slouch in performance. It features a 798cc, three-cylinder engine pumping out 140 horsepower and 63 pound-feet — all this while weighing just 370 pounds. Plus, the bike has just five miles on the dash, which makes it next to unused.

Finally, the motorcycle rolls on 17-inch spoke wheels accompanied by 43mm Marzocchi forks and a Sachs monoshock, both adjustable. These, along with the Brembo brakes at both ends and the trellis frame, make up the underpinnings.

What’s The Price?

Since this is an auction, you can head to Bring A Trailer’s website and put in your bid. For reference, the last known retail price for the Dragster 800 RR LH44 edition is ~$26,000, while the last bid (at the time of writing) is $14,100. Don’t take too long to decide, though, as the auction closes on July 7, 2022.
