The ozone layer is depleting as we speak and it’s high time we find environmentally sound replacements for our activities. In terms of motorcycling, this means switching to electric bikes, and if you dig scramblers, then the new OX Patagonia is just the right thing for you.

OX Patagonia Electric Scrambler - Design & Features

The OX Patagonia boasts a vintage scrambler design that’s similar to what we usually see on such ICE bikes. Up front, the motorcycle gets a round LED headlight with a chunky headlight mask accompanied by a tall fender below it. Following this is a tubular side protector right behind the fork and a prominent bash plate down low. Bringing the whole off-road vibe together are knobby tires wrapped around the 19-inch front spoke wheel and the 17-inch rear alloy wheel.

As for features, OX Motorcycles has equipped the Patagonia with an LCD instrument cluster that displays all necessary information, side-mounted 14-liter saddlebags, a USB Type-C charging port, and a sneaky glove box integrated into the “tank”.

OX Patagonia Electric Scrambler - Battery, Motor, & Underpinnings

Under the skin, the OX Patagonia employs a 4.32kWh removable battery, which powers the bike’s 11kW (peak) hub-mounted motor. The former allows 62 miles of range while the latter ensures a claimed top speed of 70mph. Even though these are decent numbers, there’s no mention of fast charging, which means you’ll have to wait five hours for the battery to charge.

However, the motorcycle somewhat makes up for the disappointment by featuring adjustable suspension at both ends, something that’ll come in handy when taking on loose terrain. You also get front and rear disc brakes with synchronized braking technology to make the bike safer.

Finally, the Patagonia tips the scales at just 352-pounds and has a seat height of 32.6-inches, both of which make it quite accessible for the masses.

OX Patagonia Electric Scrambler - Price

Digging the OX Patagonia? Well, you’ll be happy to know that it doesn’t break the bank either. Priced at ~$7300 in Europe, the motorcycle is a rather affordable proposition compared to other EVs and can surely be a versatile do-it-all e-bike.
