Time and again, we come across new electric motorcycles which claim to change the two-wheeler world and push the envelope, be it in terms of range, speed, or features.

America’s latest electric motorcycle, the Ryvid Anthem, also comes with a similar claim to change the game but in an aspect like no other - accessibility. How exactly does it do that? Well, here’s how.

2023 Ryvid Anthem Electric Motorcycle Unveiled

The Ryvid Anthem comes with a few tricks up its sleeves to make it more accessible than any bike out there. For starters, Ryvid has equipped it with an Ergo-Easy feature. Bespoke to Ryvid, this system allows you to adjust the seat height to your liking, offering a range from 30-inches to 34-inches. You can up or lower the height either on the fly or at a halt.

Like the seat height, the adjustability extends to the final drive too. This lets you tweak the gear ratio so you can trade some top speed for initial grunt during urban commutes and vice versa during highway runs. Topping all this is the suspension (USD forks and monoshock), both offering rebound adjustment.

Speaking of speed, this is where the Ryvid feels a bit unnerving. It employs a 7.5kW motor pumping out 53 pound-feet, good enough for a top speed of 75mph. Meanwhile, the 4.3kWh battery pack offers 75 miles of maximum range in Eco mode and just 50 miles in Sports mode. When you run out of juice, you’ll appreciate the removable battery which makes charging more convenient, plus, gives hope for a swappable battery system in the future.

The battery pack is hefty (29.5 kg), though, so Ryvid has cunningly equipped it with small wheels to move it around. Plus, when you’re putting the battery back in, you can just latch it and pull a lever to fix it back instead of deadlifting it. Pretty convenient, eh?

Even though the numbers aren’t too great, Ryvid has limited the bike’s ready-to-go weight to just 109kg (240 pounds) which should work in the bike’s favor. In addition, the Anthem is built around a unique aerospace-inspired stainless steel chassis weighing just 12 pounds.

With all this, there’s no shortage of features on the Ryvid Anthem. Here’s what all you get:

- TFT instrument cluster (with day and night modes)- Ride modes- Two USB charging ports- All-LED lights- Keyless start
