Long before Ducati introduced the Lamborghini edition of the Diavel, the Italian giant had joined hands with Mercedes’ performance division AMG to give us the Ducati Diavel AMG special edition. As you’d expect, only a handful of these went on sale, and only a handful of lucky owners got a chance to own this beauty.

However, if you wanna join this exclusive club, we're happy to report that there is a 2013 Ducati Diavel AMG edition up for auction on Bring A Trailer, thus enabling you to do exactly that.

2013 Ducati Diavel AMG Special Edition On Sale At Bring A Trailer

The Diavel AMG edition celebrated Mercedes-AMG’s sponsorship of the Ducati MotoGP team and boasted several special touches to do so. Starting off, the motorcycle donned a unique black and white livery with a thick white stripe running in the middle, complemented by the trellis chassis, finished in AMG White.

The crown jewels, though, were the 17-inch, ten-spoke forged alloy wheels designed by none other than AMG itself. Likewise, the two-into-two exhaust was exclusive to the AMG edition and has ‘AMG’ badges on the carbon fiber end caps.

Meanwhile, other notable elements include carbon fiber fenders, seat cowl, fuel tank covers, radiator shrouds, and exhaust shields, all topped by a premium Alcantara-upholstered saddle.

Apart from these, the previous owner has kitted this #401 Diavel AMG edition with Ducati performance parts all around, along with a short, tinted windscreen up top. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the #401 badges are present on the fuel tank and the water pump cover.

Coming to the mechanicals, the Diavel AMG employed a 1198cc, Testastretta engine pumping out a healthy 162 horsepower and 94 pound-feet. This was enough to startle the most experienced of riders so Ducati equipped the bike with a suite of electronic aids, all of which were accessible via a twin-display (LCD and TFT) instrument cluster.

Besides, the engine sat in a steel trellis chassis sprung on beefy 50mm USD forks and a monoshock topped by Brembo brakes for utmost braking prowess.

What’s The Price?

As always, if you dig this 2013 Diavel AMG edition, head to Bring A Trailer and put in your bid. There’s no mention of a reserved price and the motorcycle currently sits in Florida, in case you want to check it out.

It’s also worth noting that the seller flushed the brake reservoir, replaced the battery, and had the bike serviced for the preparation of the sale.
